Im not gunna say this is a complete crock but he probably was subjected to some sort of longer hypnotic process when the game started then they are revealing. like a disclaimer or text saying what you about to experience is a groundbreaking new game that will make you forget everything thats about to happen...now sleeep. or something of that sort. When you go through something like that, even if you know its not real, when you play along and then experience all that im sure it would be scary.

I don't think derren hypnotized the friends, although he could have easily done that (see his other video's). I think in this case it was the camera crew, possibly Derren's celebrity and that they were allowed to keep an eye on him the whole time which made them secure *enough* to go along. Besides, they were probably too dumbstruck by the whole event to react independently in stead of meekly following along.

i believe this is real because if uve ever woken up in a strange place u sometimes forget how u even got there for a few minutes. this is similar in that because he is playing the game he is confused on whether hes dreaming or its real

If they would say that the guy signed a contract with the producers and his mind have been preconditioned by regular hypnsois to react the way he did in the show, than I would believe it's real. I doubt that the showmakers would risk kidnaping charges by removing someone from a pub without his consent. Not to mention harm to the zombie actors in case the subject panics and chooses to melee his attackers when cornered. It's fake.
