Wow, were there any injuries? That thing got hit HARD!
And it is an A380 as you can hear the control tower and emergency response address it as such.
This is the second time an Air France A380 clipped a jet taxing. These things are so damn big, there are hazards like this when something is THAT big.
You know, you can say EXACTLY that for all people driving trucks and SUV's the size of the Titanic.
Most of them have trouble parking their behemoths, and they frequently push other drivers of the road, particularly those stupid housewives, checking their make-up mirror more than the road ahead.
Who needs a 4WD giant sized SUV in a city anyway? For those living on the countryside it makes some sense.
the structural strength of that CRJ is quite astonishing... i would have thought that the tip of the super would cut right thru that tail... cool video.
@evrolicious Yes it was "Air France 7 SUPER hold short of... give way to oppisite direction traffic at K D" Only plane that uses the Super suffix is the A380. Or are you just trolling?
@maverick967 it looks like an A340 to me in this video. if you pause at 0:05 the front section doesnt seem to have the sortof upward slant that the 380 does.
@maverick967 your non-rudeness is greatly appreciated =] just noticed the atc referring to it as a 380..so obvs i was wrong. good thing it didnt happen in the air. :D i'm sure it was quite a jolt for the crj passengers and crew lol.
@evrolicious its has a winglet that kinda looks like the winglet of an A320 so its the a380 for sure (since its obviously bigger then the 320), the A340 has another type of winglet
@LifeStartCPR64669 I think you're thinking of an A330, The A340 has 4 engines. The A340-200 and -300 share the same fuselage as the A330 but still have four engines.
@ken92660 Another reason why you should keep your seat belt fasten until the plane comes to a full complete stop and the fasten seat belt sign has been switched off ;)
That A-380 moved that plane like it was a toy...!!!

Why would anyone debate if it is a 380.
1. it has been all over the news
2. The 380 is the ONLY A/C referred to as SUPER Duh!!!!
Wow, can't believe people are actually arguing it wasn't a 380 LMAO

Considering from the beacon on the CRJ there must've been people on board and that must have been worse than turbulence.
ken92660 11 months ago
@ken92660 - Yes it was on its way to the gate after just touching down.
sharmadd 11 months ago
@ken92660 Beacon doesn't mean people on board.
swpilot2494 11 months ago
@swpilot2494 Beacon means that the engines are either about to or actively running.
