I have to say Mark, this is your best review yet. Though in your next review you should probably talk about controls for the game and try not to have long gaps without speaking. Just helping you out, can't wait for the next review :)
Yeah, I was gonna side with Dave as well! Castlevania 3 might very well be my favorite, short of Rondo of Blood. This one contained a lot of great information, too, so I enjoyed this even more than your first review!
I dont want to rag on you but maybe it would have been a good idea to do the Simons Quest review, cause trust me your fans and viewers are gonna be asking you about it a lot, some even complaining that you didnt do it. And you said the first thing youll see 3 times. And again this is a description not a review. No that I got that out of the way is too bad you didnt get a lot into the game, there is actually a lot to talk about
Draculas Curse was the Equivalent of Super Mario 3 to the Mario series, but like the Mario series many argue whether they prefer the original or this one, I for one am undecided, but however I dont like that they used the Title Draculas Curse which in my opinion should have been reversed with Dracula 2, considering that Draculas curse has nothing to do at this point of the timeline, not until Curse of Darkness which included a cameo of Trevor Belmond and a brief mention of the spirit allies.
Castlevania 2: Draculas Curse and Castlevania 3: Trevors Quest, but thats just me.
Still this game, mmm I think improved was the wrong word considering that Castlevania was still a classic title, I say it expanded the original NES title, whence I cant really say that that I favored it over the original. The music fantastic and the levels are beautifully desing (Better than Curse of Darkness).
Alucard, I dont know exactly why he changed his name, Alucard is supposed to represent that his point of view is opposite to that of Draculas whence the name inversed. Its said that these are the only two title people recognized him for, since he played very important roles in Castlevania Legends(Which is directly link to this storyline, the prequel in a way), and his supportive role in Aria and Dawn of Sorrow, In Dawn of Sorrow actually they replay this game to a certain extent.
What you said about Sypha Belnades, about her losing her family, there is actually a interesting story behind that, anyone who was lucky to read or much better yet own a copy of the novel Castlevania Legacy of darkness the novelized version of both the N64 titles would know that Sypha lost her family to the lunatic witch Actrise, and it was because of this she hunted down her descendants: The Fernandez and thus putting the events of Legacy and CV64 into motion.
If I can remember correctly Sypha once had a sibling which Actrise Killed to extent her eternal life and power, Sypha managed to escaped and Actrise took this personal, unfortunately I never managed to locate the novel and the link I used to read the novel is lost so there is no way for me to share this with any of you.
Curse of darkness, saying that it is an unnecessary sequel, is for the most part true, this was Konami fourth shot to bring the series into 3D (Technically three since in my view Legacy of darkness doesnt count since its the complete version of CV64). And they Used Draculas Curse as a based plot, probably to draw fans into playing it and try to finally make a ground braking 3D castlevania game, sadly whil CoD was great it wasnt the 3D game we were hoping for)
Getting Back to DC (Told ya there was a lot to talk about), sorry for derailing there but since throughout the series there are several references to DC its really easy to get side track. Anyway Great game, great story, great characters, epic moments, nostalgic stages
(remember, this was one of the early titles, so going back to a fully built Draculas Castle after seeing it in its ruined formed on Simons quest was like going back to Shadow Moses in MGS4 after 10 years) and storylines and events that would forever live in the fans as well as affect the rest of the storyline of the series. Final Veridict: 10/10 Classic
"HELP ME"? XD Is that like "ICARUS FIGHTS MEDUSA ANGELS"?

The correct Titles should have been:
Castlevania 2: Draculas Curse and Castlevania 3: Trevors Quest, but thats just me.

By the way The castlevania Adventure, one of the most boring titles in the series.
And thats how you make a review!
Firs of all I wanna say that I meant no offense by the comments I placed
