  • why dont you like to do unboxing videos?

  • Nice

    And Nice Sony monitor

  • $149.99 in 1985 equals $313.56 in 2012 (adjusted inflationary price) Up 109.1% according to usinflationcalculator dot c o m.

  • Check the serial number under the Nintendo! It must be one of the very first NES made since the NES lauched w/ R.O.B. worth over $300+ easily.

  • Assuming it was purchased in 1985. 149.99 in 1985 would of pretty much doubled to around $299.82 in today's money. So console prices haven't changed much once inflation is calculated.

  • what is a "recca" cart?

  • @henryblazer20

"Legend Consumer Series - Summer Carnival '92 Recca" one of the rarest valuable famicom games. It's a shooter know for its difficulty, though nowhere near the level of a modern bullet hell game

  • this is the EXACT set that we opened on Christmas morning 1985..brings back a lot of memories dude.

  • $149, no problem. Thats not to much I will just hop in my time machine and bring two modern hundred dollar bills with me.

  • That was a hell of a gift there man. All complete and in very good condition. the robot makes it that much cooler and the fact that the games like gyromite are still in the box is just as cool.

  • $149 back in 1985 would be around $313 in 2012, according to the 'CPI Inflation Calculator'

  • Awesome find!

  • Very nice! I still remember the Christmas I got mine. I sold it a few years back for a pretty penny and It is nice to see that they are still around.

  • Very cool Rob, I've got a nice boxed R.O.B. set myself. Everything looks to be in great shape, and best of all it was free! Recca will be a fine first game to re-break her in.

  • arnt they worth alot of money, did he know its value?

  • @OwtDaftUK

Not too much money. What makes this set, is the fact it is complete. It probably wouldn't go much pass $300-$400 on ebay; more if there was bid war. Nintendo stuff usually isn't too valuable due to being a ton of it still out there, but It sells back and forth easy cause people still look for the games for nostalgia reasons.

  • very nice

  • Great system in a beautiful condition. Congrats!

  • Thats so cool man. Id love to find a boxed NES someday aswell. Cheers

  • Simply awesome... I had this when it was at Toys R' Us back in the days of the general release in NY.

  • Wow im not just first commener but viewer too
