  • u mean cleanser

  • with dawn anti bacterial you don't need alcool darling, you put to many stuff for nothing, use extra olive oil and antibacterial dish cleaner and you are set

  • That's too many products..might as well go buy your MAC brush cleaner.

  • can u do this with hand sanitizer?

  • @ezzy650 No.

  • she couldve just made a video with a link to the enkore video :/

  • ok. first of all watch the video b4 commenting! and its not copyright infringement if its not copyrighted. DUH! and yaa. and all you really need to make brush cleaner is water, shampoo, antibacterial hand soap, and leave in conditioner/detangler.

  • wow people ; in the beginning of the video it was a box at the top that said "inspired by enkore's video " .

do any of you people pay attention like before you write stuff watch the video and pay attention .

  • she added it later

  • it's wrong to steal other person's idea without crediting him

    like an unofficial copyright infringement

  • you should cite that this is NOT your idea but rather ENKOREMAKEUP's creation

  • ILOVEKOP906, its just common sense. I would also want to use alcohol and shampoo conditioner or whatever i want to use to clean my brushes and how do you know it was his original idea anyway. lol

  • Hi, nice tutorial. I tried this and it really gets the brushes clean, but I feel like they are a tad soapy. Like when you don't wash all of the soap out of your hair. They are still drying. Did I use too much shampoo?

  • does not disinfect

  • this is actually correct. Soap inactivates rubbing alcohol.

  • woa this was exactly a year ago!

  • I wanted to ask a question:)

I have sensitive skin so do you think that I should rinse my brush afterwards? Cause of the remaining soap left on the brush.

  • Make sure you use a soap prodcut that does NOT have bleach in it. Bleach is not good for the bristles. It will break them down over time. Dawn without bleach is fine, though.

  • wow baby shampoo doesnt have numbing agent in it! get your facts right!

  • i just use liquid soap and water shaken up so it bubbles

  • Great video! ...Do you need to rinse them with water afterwards? Does it leave a residue? Thanks!

  • FYI, baby shampoo is NOT gentle. It is designed to remove cradle cap.

  • some is, but they are all designed to be gentle. most have a formula that doesn't sting eyes

  • yes they are kinda gentle but the reason they dont sting the eyes is because there is a numbing agent in all johnsons products which numbs babies eyes so the shampoo doesnt sting them......

  • come on there isn't a numbing agent! i used it and it didn't burn my eyes either and i use it on my dog's head so it doesn't burn his eyes either.

  • If you're a mom, you should learn how to spell before calling someone retarded.

  • I think this is for a daily to every other day usage. Shampooing is for the deep clean you should do once a week.

  • dose it have to be baby shampoo ?

  • No. It can be shampoo for regular to oily hair.

  • i didnt understand what kind of conditioner i need to use?the simple one that i use for washing my hair? thanks for video

  • the stuff you put in your hair after washing it.

    you dont wash it out.

  • the cleanser is use for spot cleaning and no deep cleaning maybe..

  • I really want to make my own brush cleanser! but...i dont have alcohol, could you use hydrogen peroxide?

  • as lonq as it has 60% of acohol in it

  • yea they both clean bacteria out of ur brushes

  • no, there two different things, go buy alcohol because youll ruin the brushes with peroxide

  • you can use antibacterial hand soap too. or a little squirt of purell or hand sanitizer.

  • um not in a mean way but are u just joking?

  • hey sorry about that comment i meant it to go to bluheelerz08 sorry!

  • @AliRose667

Using hand sanitizer will disinfect bacteria, but will not get rid of the germs and grime in the brush. Not recommended.

  • Sorry to ask another question butt....do you also do the same the with your all over face brushes or your bronzer brushes....if not what do you do....?

  • Do you have toto use the last bottle of stuff that was in the grey bottle.....?

  • Both the solution and how to clean your brushes are direct copies of enkors vidoes lol

  • careful hon, that has bleach! yikes, that might be bad for black/colored brushes <33 thanks for posting the list of ingredients though!

  • I had to come back and read. I forgot the recipe I made some about 2 months ago when I saw enkore video. Now Im watching you

  • good video. I made this stuff from enkore's video awhile back and it really works! It's just 10 more dollars I can put towards a MAC eyeshadow or Lipglass hahaha

  • I love Homemade brush cleaner video's. I ran out yesterday and was thinking about making more.Watching this video is a sign to go ahead!

  • Enkore did a video on this too!! =] COOL!
