Why does it matter? Do they have requirement for the age in this contest? Lots of people reported a false birthday on their ID cards. It is so shocking that I need to find another reason to continue to follow this program. The most probable winner would be Lin. How disappointing!

guys, all contests has their rules and regulations. For this, there is an age limit. If u wanna play their game, u have to play by their rules.
Does age matters to be a singer? nope. Does age matters in this contest? hell ya. Why? Ask the producers. ^_^
