One of the best shows that I ever went to was Michelle in Scottsdale, AZ, on the tour for her Kind Hearted Woman CD. It had the same energy that you see in this video. I was blown away!

Just saw her last week in Pocklington and then in Leeds.

This girl is red hot a fantastic show on both occassions. I asked for "Weasel be popping" (from the 'Mexican Standoff' album) and she taught her band the chord chages and launched straight into it no messing. Fantastico.

Seems she finally managed to finally get control of her own music.

I had the sad experience of going to see her play in Manchester (UK) a few years back - she was ill & left the stage really upset.

On a happier day, a further few years back I also saw her at the London Fleadh - (with some of Hothouse Flowers) - cracking stuff!

I was at the Manchester gig when Michelle left the stage too - and was refunded the ticket price - a really nice gesture.

I think we also got the refund, but call me churlish - the refund just seems the norm - as the gig we'd paid for didn't happen (she played maybe a song or 2 & had to leave).

She did say she'd come back & play the gig again sometime soon - if she did, I wasn't invited :~)

Anyone care to explain why refunding the ticket price is a "really nice gesture" rather than simply "the least they should do" & possibly legally obliged to do?

We were told that we would have both a refund & a free ticket to the rescheduled gig. I thought that was perhaps over-generous, but it never happened, so not so generous.

I'm a MS fan of old, so I'd have been really happy to pay for the promised rescheduled gig, just never got the chance.
