I agree. Really great techniques! (It's a shame the video/sound quality is so poor. I'd share them with a lot of people otherwise. But thanks for posting these!) :)
please excuse my poor spelling my english is only so so. ; ) I do how ever enjoy the simplicity and effectiveness of most of the techniques i have seen here. Please keep making us videos.
i just have a question for anyone: what is the benefit of striking with a fist instead of a palm heel strike? i mean, if the palm heel strike is strong and safe, why use a fist? if anyone could answer my question, I'd greatly appreciate it. :)
Dear Kaka! The palm heel strike is only in theory strong and safe. You can hit with the palm itself (if you comare it with the knuckles) e.a. a wall harder without injuring yourself, So the bottom of the palm is quite practical to strike with. But the upper part and the finger (even if you claw them) are through the leverage more likle to be hurt if you arent able to hit with that exact bottompalm spot. Also a man is likly to use its fists when the shit hits the van.further q?
I have studied martial arts all of my life, including ishurin ryu, shoto khan, kempo, jui jitsu and aikido. I love the techniques you use. They seem to be what has taken me a life time to realize the simplicity of using what you know with using the instincts you already have. I was wondering if you could show us something defending against long guns like a shot gun. Also a situation involving multiple attackers in a kidnaping senario.
Just from what I personally believe and have learned, if someone has a gun, do what they want. If there's muiltiple people always keep moving and try to run away. I like Krav Maga because it's not for fighting, it's for self defense and they take the simplest and most effective techniques from all the styles out there and put it into one style =)
Prior to the take down she should use knee attacks to disengage you from your hold or rip into the eyes forcing the hands away.. Otherwise the attacker will drag the defender to the ground with them.
yeh, brilliant stuff. like with the gun disarming tech though, situations are so quick&unpredictable, its scary to think you may try a move that you remember but it fails&immediately you have to try something else. However that's what's good about the general aggressiveness of this, groin, knees, eyeball gouge lol! You should at least get a chance to do that! As a side point, the lady sparring partner is hot! Looks more like they're having a hug at some points! Good way to trick a cheating bf! lol

@she11hammer - If you haven't already found them, there are other Krav Maga vids here that cover those scenarios. I like this technique, too.
