sounds wonderful! Have you ever tried the Seagull S-12? I am leaning towards buying my brother one but not sure because of the laminate backing. Thanks for your help!!!!
@kadieeb Yes I have actually, just this past week! It's very nice actually, though to me it seemed a tad bit higher in price compared to just how awesome the rest of the line is price-wise. That being said I still think it's worth the money. The sound is great but play it for yourself before you buy it, it's all about the sound YOU want to hear. If you're buying for your brother maybe take him down to the store just to "look at guitars" and get him to try it out and see how he likes it? ;)
@Botdra Thanks for all of your advice, I really appreciate it! Yeah I took him down to the music store and he picked out the one he liked best. It's so true what you say, they all have a slightly different tone and feel to them. Thank you so much and have a wonderful night :)
@kadieeb Perfect! I hope he loves it :) And it was my pleasure, anything else you need just ask. I'll be redoing this demo soon with better mic's and camera as well. :) And you enjoy your night as well! Cheers!
@TheDecidingBullet I'd love to help you man but I actually haven't tried that one yet. I'll try and see if my local music store carries it, I need to make a trip out in the next few weeks anyways. Sorry I can't be of more help!
It sounds so good! I can't wait to have the same one on my hands. I just started paying for one on a Lay Away plan 5 hours ago. I wanted both the Tric Case for winter and the Seagull Gig Bag for summer. God bless! I can't play like you, you're good!
@Botdra Thanks for replying. I'm a woman, though I'm not a Ma'am. I love my Perf! I love it sooooo much that I sleep beside it on my bed. Eventhough I'm tired, I can still play for a few minutes each night because the TRIC and the guitar are beside me. God bless!
@Botdra Thanks for being encouraging. It took me a year to finally decide to get a Seagull. I did my research. I'm just worried because |'m already 37. I just want to learn more. Younger people learn faster. God bless!
@bluzshadez Ah no no, not at all. You are never to old to learn! It's really not the age as much as it is the motivation and the time. If you're really motivated and enjoy it, you're gonna get far, as with anything in life. Guitar is really about how hard you work at it and how much you want to learn! I'd suggest getting a teacher, because although many stars are self-taught, they can give you a HUGE boost compared to teaching yourself, no matter how long you've been learning.
@Botdra Thanks for being encouraging. I do have a Guitar Teacher, but I'm just impatient right now. It's been a year and I still want to get far. Beyond 30 years old, the memory isn't that sharp anymore. May God bless you more!
@bluzshadez My pleasure! If you need help, have any questions or whatever I'm happy to help you, either on YouTube or on my bog just send me a message and I'll do my best!
@bluzshadez I'm 30+ and just got back into playing. I don't have a teacher but I just decided it would be fun and that works great for me. I used to be so-so, but motivation makes huge difference. Going to open mic and playing with others moves me forward. Set a goal and then reward yourself with the guitar you want. Seagulls are great for me. I play fingerstyle and the wider neck makes it more comfortable.
I've really got my eye on this guitar, and although i've never seen one in person i like it so much i can't look at any other guitars lol. So would you recommend it?
@ben10150 It depends on what your acoustic needs are. But for me it has ALMOST everything. The only thing are that it doesn't have a second strap button (like most acoustics) but you can install one for a few bucks at any music store. The only other problem is that the action is QUITE the way I want it, but it's still very low and this guitar plays amazingly. Sounds great, plays great, looks great, it's amazing for $600!! I would totally recommend it.

@bluzshadez Trust me, you'll get there. I'm not very good in comparison to other guitar players, but if you love it you'll excel at it! Best of luck.

I have had mine for about 1 year and love it. It sound great with elixir strings on it. I love the action on it and the wide neck on it as well.

@blranch8 Me too! I don't like the Elixir brights though, this guitar is bright enough haha.

@Botdra well i play a nice bit of fingerstlye, and i love low action lol, as long as there's no fret buzz. Great playing by the way!
ben10150 1 year ago
@ben10150 Thanks very much! Yes it is borderline for fingerstyle in my opinion, but that being said I'm not an acoustic player, so I could be wrong.

Good solid top guitars for $300.
I haven't seen a bad review yet.

@thebird55 Yup! Mine was more expensive, but the $300 models still are EXCELLENT, mind blowing.
