Can someone tell me why anyone would risk destroying their reputation, marriage and their kid's childhood for a little bit of money. Why would a tv station promote this? It is almost impossible and even if they did get half a million they would only get 300k after taxes. It just doesn't make sense to me.

everybody has secrets. everybody has some information that if they disclosed it, it would ruin the marriage. I don't understand how people can confidently go on the show and risk it. They must have forgotten the skeletons in the closet when signing up. I wouldn't go on that show, i wouldn't want my girfriend to either. for the sake of the relationship there are things that i would rather not know. ignorance is bliss.
