@angels77100 One last point regarding Brown's mandate; you say he represents this country because of Blair's victory in '97 (Labour won two subsequent elections - the victory in '05 giving them the right to govern, btw) but Blair pledged to serve a full term and that's what the British voted for. We ended up saddled with one of the worst PM's of the post-war period who seized power through the back door without even a leadership ballot in his own party. It was a wholly undemocratic coronation.
