The band has an afroperuvian singer and tow afroperuvian percusionist, the base of the band are not white guys if you see one of them is of asian descent and the other guys are basicly mixed (mestizo). during the old times the afro peruvian music was rejected by the society ran by the white people but 50 years ago it started to change ....

Most of the Peruvian people dance afroperuvian since we're children included the white people that doesn't mean the racism is done , but we're a multicultural country check the andean music or our rock bands or our hip hop musicians or the chinese celebrations. We're less fragmented than you the USA society all our roots are building our culture our music, our cuisine etc.
