The part that really enfuriates me in this video is those men just running up to those baby seals and beating them until they die. Then you can see one of the seals trying to run away and the man just steps on its fin or tail and its still trying to get away but cant move then he raises his axe or whatever it is and just beats the shit out of it. Whale meat sells for $64. per pound. So one Minke of 6 tons would make the whalers $768,000...

unless the meat is discovered to have high levels of mercury in it, then the heroes of Japan generously donate those batches to schools, to serve as lunches because they can't sell it.

The batches they do keep (and don't get SOLD) go bad in a warehouse and get dumped. Then they go out hunting for re-stock

Very nice video, I really like whales and the other gracious animals of the sea. And although I am not against whaling I am against the killing of non-adult animals anywhere in the animal kingdom and also over-killing. I dont think endangered species should ever be killed whatsoever and I think whaling should be legal but HIGHLY restricted and supervised.

The methods of killing in the whaling industry are also too cruel in my opinion, they need a way to kill, so the animal doesnt feel pain.
