Hey Your a wiz kid on them keyboards. I have classic home keyboards, Yamaha PSR 2700 Sampler PSR 3000, Roland E86, a classic SH-201 Roland synth & a wonderful Micro Korg XL vocoder. I play Gary Nmn & Kraftwerk covers, record bits of my own stuff, sing & play old classics for elderly groups but it's just a hobby for me. Cheers from Rich
OMG i am playing now on korg n364 and i wanna buy those keyboards sooooooo bad!!!!!!!! But for 2000euros... its just too much...i hope i will collect money some day...^^
Mi pare che la batteria abbia troppo eco, come se fosse una registrazione di un altoparlante. Bel suono, io modificherei l'ADSR del basso, sembra un po' poco realistico.
Dude theres some weird shadow thing going on around ur third white B note, it goes diganoly up a few keys, you notice it at the begginign of the vid, its trippin me out
You've got a sick right hand! As encouragement, I'd like to hear more interesting intervalic ideas as opposed to just scalular patterns. Additionally, your harmonic language needs to be expanded to add tension and interest in your lines. Take a listen to Alan Holdsworth here on youtube and listen to a true modern genius... Peace bro...
yea, some intervals would be nice as opposed to ur linear runs. the harmonic structure needs to be clearer, i couldn't quite see the purpose in ur runs. they sounded kinda random, but i like the chromatic stuff. anyway, keep going. nice
Spettacolare. Te lo consiglio vivamente!
No synth is dedicated to only one music genre. There is no doubt in that the Virus is good for trance music, but it does do classic analog synth simulations quite well. On top of that being able to recreate nice strings and FX. The reverb, phase, flanger + other effects are really good. I got the Nord Wave, Supernova II, Nord Modular G2x and the Virus TI Polar. And my opinion is that the virus are among the best sounding and most powerfull VA's on the market

typical dumb yank, if you wanna play that type of crap music buy a damn korg tr, you are using a synth designed for hard trance and euro, what a fool!!!, why buy a dedicated dance machine then force it to play this crap. thats what yamahas are for.
I cannot agree on it. I've had Yamaha and Korg synths and the power of sounds of Ti is completely different. I think that only a Moog can give the same results.
I smell a preset user here. Let me guess, the 3000 on board sounds of the Virus made you think its a dedicated trance machine?
Btw.....I actually think 95% of hard trance sounds actually sounnd pretty crap. The Virus TI (which I own) really excells at ambient soundscapes......yes thats right.....it covers ambient/film score equally as well if not better than dance orientated stuff. But please do yourself a favour, dont insult other users by your lack of knowledge.
idiota nessun strumento è dedicato a niente, la musica è libera quanto l'interpretazione e l'uso che si fa degli strumenti è del tutto personale vangelis e jarre lo insegnano.
What the hell is cheezy about a fat saw wave lead sound? The groove has a somewhat 80's fusion type feel to it(which is cool) and the lead fit's over it well,it's cooler than a bunch of one finger groove's that require no skill to perform, the Virus may not be the most authentic sounding for analog VA,but there some great playing happening here!!
well, I'm pretty sure that a Virus C could pull this off. The TI just has some cool wavetable functions added, but as for analog sounds, the C is just fine.
See my channel for newsest virus soundset=)

I really like the "airy" strings
What patches are you using? Don't be ashamed to admit if you use factory pre-sets because i use them majority of the time
If you created them what are the parameters......Thanks!

Less 80's keytar presets please!
When i played this in store it was full of such amazing sounds, yet everyone on youtube only loads up the one cheesy sounding preset.
Look forwarding to loading up some more versatile sounds when mines arrive.
Sorry to hijack, it's just a bit annoying when its such a powerful machine.

well, I'm pretty sure that a Virus C could pull this off. The TI just has some cool wavetable functions added, but as for analog sounds, the C is just fine.

When mine arrives i'm going to load up some yummy psychedelic demo sounds to youtube :)
