  • I have put clip on familydaystoutonabudget com

  • the ancient egyptians were an amazing civilization

  • i dont know why there are people say that ancient egyptians were black . although Ancient Egyptians were some brown. and another people say that all Egyptians are arab white.if they come to Egypt they will see that almost all egyptians is brown people.if we speak Arabic. that not mean we are arabs. we still have the egyptian descent

i think those people are jeolous

from Egyptian student in Egyptology. cairo university

  • @EgyptianShaabi The black in USA think Egyptian were blacks that mixed later on with white Arab invaders but of course it mostly bullshit as there is no way a whole country can change race from mixing like that there just jealous because blackS have know great old civilization they try to steel others

  • @romanljc wtf is a white arab? closest to that Ive seen is a Turk

  • @EgyptianShaabi stay in school and redo history. you have no idea on what you are typing.

  • @EgyptianShaabi, please Arabs have only been in Egypt in mass numbers from around 616AD.im not saying there were not Arabs civilians living in Egypt well Kēme but no where enough in numbers to make a civilization, most people living on the land they now call home can only follow there roots up to one thousand years and it then leads to Persia, stop trying to pinch a history when your own is great the artifacts dont lie..well in less there fake ..ZAHI HAWASS is an ass reveal the D.N.A...

  • support egypt

  • It's so horrible that it was broken into.

  • doe's anyone want to buy the rossetta stone, it's all about money and that's it

  • Egyptology is disney land. I'm sure as you're guided through the museum by your tour guide, passing by major pieces like the dreadlock wearing Amenemhet or coal skin Mentuhotep, you may conclude that ancient Egypt had nothing to do with black African. Nothing can be further from the truth!!

  • @shariefwat I Co-Sign each and every word you typed. 1000000% true

  • a me hanno detto che è vietato portare la telecamera o la fotocamera. Peccato:(( mi sarebbe piaciuto fare qualche foto all'interno. Terrò questo video come ricordo:)

    ciao

  • so they dont let you bring in cameras in the cairo museum???

  • i went to the Cairo Museum when i was 14 and if i remember rightly your not allowed to have have video cameras, for some reason i dont know why.

  • @richyloike

the reason is the camera's flash !!!!

    go read it up

  • Great video, I was there last year and was so disappointed that no cameras were allowed nowadays. Would have loved a picture of the King Tut's Face Mask.

And yes it is very hot, but so much to see, and also very busy!!!!

  • wooow amazing thanks for sharing is all that stuff pure gold ?

  • @pedro702lv

Yes, small things of pure gold the big stuff gold-plated

  • @sororms oh OK i thought the big stuff is pure gold too but anyways id like to go to Cairo one day

  • @pedro702lv

The biggest piece of pure gold the Coffin-shaped human there are three of them One of pure gold and two gold-plated wood and the mask is pure gold too

  • @pedro702lv

You are welcome in Egypt at any time :)

  • Y como siempre Los Americanos se kedan con el ocico de perro abierta ya k en su pais no existen algo asi como en otros paises jajajjajajajaja viva la cultura y muera las vanidad como lo son todos ellos jjajajajajaj

  • What was that fish looking thing at 6:30? And the animals that inspired the furniture look very distant from the animals we know today.

  • @susan1vanity it was a real mummified fish

  • Very nice coverage of the museum. We were there in 1995 and yes, it was incredibly hot inside the place. Your video brought back great memories of my own trip!

  • I wanna see King tuts final coffin the one thats Solid Gold

  • NOTE: I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS TRUE TO ALL EGYPTIANS.

We decided to go to Egypt for a holiday and went to the Cairo museum. I had to fake my identity to Egyptian just to get in the bloody place cause the dick headed wanker egyptians put the price up over 10x the normal price for people who are outside Arabian countries and about 2x is your Arab, which is COMPLETELY unfair on anyone who isn't Egyptian. The overpricing, shit headed people who live there...

    Sorry for the swearing..

  • يا حبيبتي يا مصر

    زوار من كل انحاء العالم

  • Muchas Gracias!

  • guys for every one love this museum

wait and see there is one being built

i am from egypt and i have seen the adv

it will be built near to the pyramids and

it is called grand egyptian museum

    cant wait to visit it

  • im from egypt too!!

  • viva egypt

  • Qué maravilla poder conocer todos esos tesoros de la historia de la humanidad !!

  • No!!!! I would not let those people hold my gold. I would not put that stuff in a museum nor any museum if there was no bullet proof glass covering. It would of been fucking gone already I guarantee if one thing was uncovered it would be either stolen, broken, degraded indefinatly and what we call ruined.

  • Look at 2:14 the gold is very shiny. It looks like it was made yesterday. Amazing people and civilization

  • filming is prohibited in this museum

  • Please read the description of the video.

  • @MrSuperwoofer but still u can try filming i did

  • AMAZING i wanna go there one day, Did they have King Tuts Mummy There?

  • No, the mummy of Tut is in his tomb at the Valley of Kings.

  • Great camera work. I hope to go to Egypt next year.

  • Egypt is amazing .........

  • ????

    :D your mothers history

  • how did you know that ?! XD

  • kurds say that

  • gah head demons hhhhhhhhhhheeehhl9ipo

  • nope!

  • Carter was just greedy explorer nothing more. He almost destroyed king tut mummy by exposing his mummy to the direct sun to remove the Golden mask, the mummy now is in bad shape because of his cruel methods. He also tried to steal some of the items found inside the tomb after the Egyptian government refused to share the findings with him and instead they pay him money as compensation.

  • all foreign archeologists are just fucking thieves....

  • very true carter did more harm finding the tomb than good i mean it was good that he found it most of what we know about ancient egyptian burials and culture comes from the finding of the tomb but it also destroyed some of the history in the process

  • deuce2469 ON YOUR COMMENT- hey dickhead i am related to him as well but it really comes as no surprise on how fucked up the male gender in our line our line what the truth hurt suck it up then go and become better than a tomb robbing asshole bloated on his own self importance and greed what right did he have to tear apart tuts body?NONE .NOBODY HAS THAT RIGHT .i dont discount carter had done some great things and could have done more if greed hadnt gotten in the way

  • Fucktard.... carter wasnt in it for the greed!!!!!! he didnt care for the treasure and all that stuff if u really knew more bout him u would realize that when he worked for theoadore davis he quit working for him cause davis was tooo hoped up on getting gold and treasures.. carter was more focused on on learning bout the past and learning more bout the culture.. and for ur comment on tearing tuts body apart.. do u even kno the real story behind it????

  • i hate to tell you but they are right carter moved the mummy and caused significant damage to tut moving him around trying to get the death mask off i should know i have an article about it written and autographed by Zahi Hawass the chief of antiquities in Egypt

  • deuce2469-- hey dick head i am related to him as well

  • the real story is the egyptions pourd ungeuns *i think u spell it like that* and sacred oils over his body.. and over time those oils hardend and caused the mummy to become stuck.. i agree that carter should not have hacked his body up but what was he supposed to do??? thhis was mid 1920's technology we r talking bout they didnt kno wht they were doing its not their fauly maybe if they were more carful in removning his mummy then that would be diffrent.. and he was not a greedy man whatsoever!

  • WoW...great video! I'll probably never get to see this is person, so Thank you :)

  • ΜΠΡΑΒΟ

  • Priceless treasures, it is really amazing how they made those arts

  • Exuse me, but does anyone know what the paddle/spear/blade lookiing thing at 2:58-3:00 is?

  • and in am no fan of howard carter someone should dig him up and tear his corpse to peices like he did to the boy king

  • Hey fucktard!!!! i happen to be related to carter!!!

  • i have always loved egypt for some reason i can remember sneeking off to the local library at eight years old to read their books on egypt i alsohave the greatest respect for hawie asad (sorry i cant spell it correctly) you can tell he loves his country and his job very dedicated to preserving and exploring his countrys ancient kingdoms he is very knowledgeable and direct and he has a way with making you intrested in the history the good and the bad when he talks its with pride

  • dude this sucks ass when i went in the musum camra was not allowed but then i still got me some vids w00t!

  • great video.thanks

  • lol..arab ...no conection to ancient egyptian? LOL.....okay so the arabs came to egypt and pressed delete on they keyboard and the original egyptians just disapeared and the ARABS who have no conection to egyptian just occupies the place ?.....so gay ...dude we are the same ppl ...the facial features ...the bodies size ....the brains and every things we still have some pharaohnic words in our language untill today like set means women its not ARABIAN word its herogliphic and many others ...

  • Arabs did not enter africa until thosands of years later in the late dynasties.

  • @rashed4 shut up, Arab Muslim vermin.

The original egyptians were white. facial features were more like modern europeans than you arab scum.

  • @rashed4

yeah but we are not arabians !!!!

we are egyptians and we are not related to arabs !!

after the arabic-islamic invasion we had to speak arabic that doesn't mean we are arabs !!!!

    we still egyptians not arabs

  • IysisOlivianna!!!

yes you're right Egyptian are black but not totally black but half Asian and African black..

don't you ever read about African-Asiatic people they are Egyptian..

not because you have that video saying Egyptians are black that they're truly black..

black for Egyptians symbolizes respect and purity...

just research or read before you speak...

and are you one of the black racist or not. if you're asking me I'm either in black and white....

  • the people of ancient kemet or called miziam in the bible which we know today as egypt was black and in no relation to the white arabs who call them selves the ancestors of those people and are not. I have proof of this on my page.

  • hey i`m from Egypt too and i`m so proud of course.

i don`t mean to tease u but i get to go to the Cairo musum , the Egyption musuem , the prymadis and every where so i`m lucky to get to see all this amazing things for real, and watch it here too.

  • You are a laughing stock to others, because they know who you are. You "Arabs" are invaders that came to egypt in 638-640. You absolutely have no connection to the black people that created the culture there.

  • is every thing real or fake

  • All real and priceless.

  • @OdbodII Its fucking rediculous that the Muslim protesters destroyed some things in there now....

  • @bmwtransporter wht do u mean ?

  • @bmwtransporter Everything is real and magnificent. There is so much of it that they seem to be nonchalant about it. Some items thousands of years old sit in cases without any labelling. In some areas there are rows and rows of similar items.

  • Wow, this brings back so many good memories. Many things I wouldn't have remembered if I hadn't watched this video. Thanks a lot for posting it!

Cairo museum is a breathtaking place. So MUCH amazing treasures to see that I felt confused. And we only had 1 hour of our own time!

It felt weird and hard-to-believe to look directly to the eyes of Tutankhamon's golden deathmask. And to be 10cm away from Ramses the Great. I wish it still would be allowed to have cameras! But I'm glad there's Youtube.

  • fuk it, egypt is the no.1 country in the world. And yes i'm egyptian

  • Kemet... I Agree is a mighty country

  • WaW......that makes me wanna scream to the whole world saying IAM EGYPTIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAN

  • wow i want to go so bad uhm do they transfer to english id love to hear what they are saying

  • i loved this museum so much!!!

  • I was there a couple of days ago. What a magnificient experience.

  • Can anyone buy me tickets to Cairo, Egypt?? if so, comment me and i'll give u my email to tell u more information on why I need ticketst to go to Cairo, Egypt. :>

  • my'n brother was ther.

    it's great!

  • ps. what the hell are they doing with a statue of telly savalas at o:26?

  • well we all know WHY no cameras of any kind are allowed don't we? because if you are allowed to take your own pics then how the hell are they gonna flog you their OWN vastly inflated pics of the treasures? the crafty egyptian bastards have got it well stitched up. TUT TUT....pun intended.

  • Nice video

  • So Are You Not Allowed To Have Cameras, Or Only No Video Cameras?

  • Actually no camera of any kind at all,... (I've been there a couple of weeks ago),...

  • what a good video. thank you odbodll. what a terrific experience it must have been. to see the most famous artifacts in history is a great achievement. my one wish in life has been to see all this for myself,i could never afford it but it's truly kind of you to post this so that people like myself can at least LOOK at the fabulous items and leave the rest to our imaginations! thank you.

  • oh sorry i didnt read that bit. i wish you were still able to use cameras, i would have loved to taken pictures, even if i did have to pay.

  • ive just arrived back from egypt and i went to the museum. it was soo hot in there and we all had to hand our cameras in before entering, how did u get to film inside. was such a great museum

  • As the video description says.... Holiday video of a visit to Cairo museum back in the days when cameras were allowed inside, albeit for a considerable fee.

  • Cairo Museum is a fabulous place, stuffed to the gills with amazing things.

  • its a great museum but is so sad you cant record ahything on video we were not allowed :( i wonder how this very video vas recorded :) shhhh..... :P

  • What a fantastic video!

I thought the O2 exibits were great considering not being able to get the best pieces to the UK but ...im going to Cairo

  • Well great vid . but there is not legal to make a video in tutankhamon´s room.

  • THIS IS THE FAMOUS MUSEUM IN EGYPT

  • INTERESSANTE

  • Im going their on vacation this year hah:P

  • Great civilization this is....I'm Egyptian and i study at this museum, I like it more than home...lol

  • thank you man to post this, I was there before long time and I was stunned, what a great civilization was there, thanks alot

  • m going to egypt this summer what are some of the good places to go???

  • i wish the ancient egyptians were were still living there at this time. by the way africa was called egypt, mizraim, put, kush and ethiopia they were all black as well as jesus and the israelites.

  • Fucking grave robbers. Lets go to Europe and dig up their Kings.

  • oh man, I shoulda done the samething but they couldnt let me without a camra..how much did u pay to get in?...me and my friend paid 12 dollar each (canadian)

  • This was filmed around 8 years ago and I can't recall the charge for enterance or for using video cameras. What I do remember is that the price for cameras was exorbitant enough for everyone else in my group to be frightened off using theirs. I have never regretted the fee though :)

  • How did you get your camera in there? That really isn't fair as I was not alowed!

  • cool i want to go there sooo bad!!thank u 4 taping it i have always wanted to see the meuseum.

  • You are very lucky:) They did not let us to use cameras inside the Museum.

But now i have a chance to show your video to my mom:)

  • How moving it is to be in this museum again.

  • it has always been my dream to go there thanks for showing me that.

  • nice video!! i'm from egypt, but i live in ialy, and every summer i go here, i have a house near the museum. Thanks for the video!!

  • How very lucky you are!!I wish i had a house there!

  • You are right just got back from there no camera at all is allowed. They are very strick about it and if they found out you are video taping it they will confiscate your camera or throw your camera away in front of u

  • Thankyou for that video. Ive never been so that was nice to see, but looked hot and crowded!

  • LOL... No I'm not American although how you jumped to that assumption says a lot more about you than it does Americans and video cameras were allowed in the museum for a fee when I went. Just because they aren't allowed now does not mean they have always been prohibited. If you watch the film it is quite obvious that no attempt is made to hide the filming process.

  • Do you think that fee gives you a right to broadcast this online?

  • lol wtf is with that guy or gal shining the light right into your eyes when you were looking in that one case?

  • it sure is crowded in there

  • INTERESSANTE!

  • i find the egyptians to be some of the most incredible people to grace this planet and everything they ever created was a work of art, just stunning.

  • thats nubian history not egyptian egypt is aland that was invaded alot of times

  • How did you film that? Before entering the museum the local Authorities told me that was forbidden filming &/or taking pictures so they were not allowing cameras & camcorders inside the museum

  • This was filmed at a time when no restrictions were in place.

  • Oh man you were lucky! I can remember that they didn`t allowed me to enter with mobile phone with camera :/ (sorry for my english)

  • seriously, both times I went they wouldn't let us in with camera's either and I went about 3-4 years ago and about a year ago as well... and I'm egyptian!

  • So see You soon. Today i`m goin` to Hurghada from Poland ;)

  • i am to ther but i go to Hurghada after 10 days

  • A Beautifull Impression in the Museum

  • One of the world's great museums. You could spend days in here and still not see everything!

  • We were not allowed to take any photos or video in the museum when we visited in March, so it is really fun to watch your movie and relive the wonderful things we saw. Thanks!

  • this video was very educational because i needed to learn about egyept in school! thanks for putting this video on. Also watch my video. I will put it on there soon. I think i will be singing in it with my freinds. Love ya

    ♥~{madi}~♥

  • nunca en mi vida, habia visto algo tan bello, buen video, felicidades, ver los tesoros del cairo, es una pura bendicion, y los de tutankhamon todavia mas, lo digo yo, que soy fanatico de todo eso

  • The best holidays of my life ever... Egypt still casts spells on it's visitors.. A magical place! Wish I'll be back there soon!!!

  • i like the mummy room, its awesome

  • EGYPT STILL RULLS!!!

  • Great footage!

  • How did you get a camera in there? When I went 4 months ago they wouldnt allow any cameras in there.

  • They must have changed the rules since I went. I hate it when you can't film you must have been disappointed. It was the same for me with the Teracotta Warriors in Xian, I had a great day out but I've no photos or films to remember it by.

  • Now they XRay your bags and if theres a camera in there you have to leave it with a guard and collect it when you leave.

  • amazing. been twice and both times were brilliant

  • The Cairo Museum is an amazing place. It is Full of wonderful things and each time i have visited it it has been such an amazing experience.
