@adnihilis I can top that. I was in a hard rock band (that no longer exists). We wrote some really original stuff (about 25 songs) and recorded 11 of em throughout the course of a year. No one's heard em expect a couple dozen people in our town. They're not online or anything.

Underground means that they are very rare in media, doesnt have to do with the quality. But yes u have a point, many underground bands have bad quality (bad produced). But maybe if you check out Dysterkald (thats my band), dont have a studio at all, just a computer and cakewalk =) good quality must i say ;)
