@studywizard She has some kind of a very strong California accent. If you have watched the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High", Sean Penn was using another kind of California accent (of course that is not his real accent). New Yorkers here in the East Coast talk differently too. But the right way is the newscasters like in CNN, Fox News, NBC. With that kind of an accent even if they decide to talk real fast, it's still easier to understand.
