@TruthAndMoreTruth In some server the cycle_delay is hiegher than other so a "tight" double bind is impossible. If you are playing a local game you cant change the cycle_delay .01 gives a tight bind.

im using a cable modem with 3M conectivity...i used to put the following config: ping charity 180, input and output at 8. in my old computer that used to work fine, but now, my ping is always high! i tried to play on servers with similar ping (around 180). i tried other configurations, but it stays the same...any help would be apreciated! thanks!

Your super diggin techinique won't work against the only right way to dig - almost all rubber at 1st knock and equal or greater amount of next kicks than your opponent (;

try at at ct G1 test server, where cycle_rubber_speed is lowered making novice seeing distance more clearly

you have to press the ~ button and then it brings up the console commands and then you have to type this cycle_delay X and put x for a number ps. the lower the number the faster you can turn and you can set it to something like 0.01 and then you can do it good :)

you have to go into the console mode and change settings. (pressing the ` key (next to 1))

its kinda complicated to set a local game up like a network game.

you make sure left and right turn have two 'binds'

which means: there should be two keys to turn left and same goes for right...

you can change the settings for keys somewhere in player settings

I was the first to create a 'super dig' method by, instead of double binding to get closer, you double bind to not lose rubber. So instead of double binding parallel to the wall, double bind while going towards the wall (This requires you to Press Leftx2+rightx2 extremely fast, OR Triple bind like I did and mash those. I can't remember exactly, but I did some kind of quad-bind ages ago as well, most servers now-a-days don't have the rubber to support it though.

Note that the "digging" shown here is only possible in games that allow a large amount of "rubber"

About the last part, you're right, and also: it's an advanced technique, beginners should not put their time and effor in mastering it, before you mastered Double Binding etc.

Its a special technique, the ones i showed earlier can get you to the wall, but the last showen technique actually gets you in the wall MUCH faster, so you can beat your opponent in a wall-fight.

the amount of rubber there is depends on the server you cant change it.

In your own server , you should enter the admin password and use "CYCLE_RUBBER XXX" where XXX is the ammount of rubber. If you use a local game, you can just enter CYCLE_RUBBER XXX, where XXX is again the ammount of rubber.

You will need the admin password for online mathes to change the rubber ammount.

because if your used to playing 20+ rubber you will become accustomed to having a closer grind, while as playing 10-5 at start will get you in the right range of playing, why no one is a noob in rubber, do not venture into fortress servers until you are sure you know what to do.

personally, i played norms place for 3-4 months until i could double bind effectivly, then i moved on to the classic fortress, which traditionally has 5 rubber. (norms place has 10 rubber) you will find at least 10 servers with 20+ rubber,

yep, thats true... and if you can master the double bind thing, you will see that you inmediate are one above-average player, because all skills and tricks are based on the double bind technique.

depends on your speed of connection... but it takes a little practice... start off with a server which has high rubber, which means that when you hit a wall, you kind of go into bullet time so you don't actually crash...

double-binding can be set up if you go to player setup and assign two keys to left for example, and by pressing both at the same time, you do two 90 corners in quick succession, again depending on the settings of the server
