@NCRRanger108 yes you do, your ears are paralized by the sound, and you just feel the adrenaline knock in your head. And i guess your brain transform it into sound. try with firework:D
@NCRRanger108 Well, once when I got knocked down the only thing I heard was a beeping noise that got louder and louder until I thought my ear's gonna explode and then I lost consciousness. So...no heartbeat ^^
@NCRRanger108 Basicly no, but the heart will be this fast when scared or near death, its the adrenaline running through the body that makes it this fast.
@NCRRanger108 when i went through basic my drill sergeant told us about when he stepped on a landmine. (combat engineers) when he felt the pressure plate "click" the 1 second it took to blow seemed like 5 hours. everything becomes brighter and your hearing is magnified. you hear your heartbeat as the loudest sound and everything else is dead silent. the sever dose of adrenaline your body throws out causes all of that.
@NCRRanger108 Not really but the adrenaline makes your heart beat like crazy. You will feel it and be much more aware of it, but normally after when things have calmed down as during the blast or explosion or whatever your attention will be drawn to that and not your heart. Shock is a different story and thats a hard feeling to explain but maybe people react different and sense different things but thats my experience anyway :)
@NCRRanger108 i was once almost knocked down with a punch on my temporal bone, i fell on the floor and stood there for like 10 secs, but it felt like 2 minutes
i cant remember it right, but i think i heard the sounds like they were far away and very slow
This noise gives me shivers.
