Unlocking is to recieve service on a tmobile sim card. apple iphone 4 uses a micro sim, which you can MAKE out of your tmobile or att sim... just search it up, but be careful

So i guess i can only activate it through a AT&T sim card via itunes and if i borrow it from a friend will it be charged on this SIM..so u know how that things works?
