Lol, I love it. I like seeing that there are people out there who let their rabbits out to run and play and don't just keep them in a hutch/cage all of the time. IMO, rabbits need space constantly. It's more fun for the rabbit AND for their owners :-)
@silversky2668 i think it affects their character as well. fortunately no bunny here has to live in a cage (they have their own bedroom for nite time though). because they are out all the time they are very friendly and laid back, never nervous. my youngest who isn't bonded with the others gets very lonely if left alone and seeks us out.
@mrurt That's awesome :-) I would love to have a whole room for my rabbit, someday. He's free range in my room when I'm home and is litterbox trained and lays on my bed with me for pets. When I'm gone, there's a big pen I have for him with his toys so he can still run around--like you said, you can just tell they're happy and friendly when they have the room they need. I don't think a lot of people know that rabbits can make good free-range house pets.
@silversky2668 i don't think most non-bunny people know how wonderful they are, especially when they have enough freedom to relax. when bunny only has a few minutes to spend outside of the cage and then doesn't want to be caught or does something naughty they often get let out even less, making everything worse.
@mrurt It's nice to know other people let their buns run free! I get weird looks when I tell people my rabbits are only in their cages when I'm gone or in bed. They always ask, "Don't they poop all over the place?" And I say, "YEP! But I just pick it up." Of course, they pee in their litter boxes. They're very well-behaved. It's even better now that two of three are fixed, and the last is on her way too. Less chewing and digging!
@girlmeetsgun lol. i am frequently asked about litter training techniques and have to explain to people that if their bunny pee's in the pan but still leaves some marbles scattered here and there, they ARE litter trained. :) i have two that have near perfect litter habits but when you have 3 or 4 rabbits living together it's almost unheard of that you wouldn't have marbles to pick up, and most the time it's not using the bathroom, it's marking or kicking them about
im starting to wonder...if rabbits have fragile bones, why is that their way of showing happiness?? it bothers me a bit..lol >.< im worried my bunny might break her bone if she binkies,
@freshlimejuice grandpa (my farting bunny video) is 11 years old now. though he is now blind (and minus one eye) and has arthritis he is still healthy. just feeling the effects of old age. my scoobie made it to 9 and on bunspace, grandpa doesn't even make it into the top 100 oldest living bunnies on the site.
My bunny loves chewing my carpet, that's why she's not allowed into my bedroom (i would love to have her with me but she won't stop)
Also could you give me advice on how to stop her to pee on us. If I would fall asleep on the couch with the blanket on me, she'll pee on the blanket) but now she does it more to my boyfriend
my bunny once was bored i guess and we had this tube laying out on the ground and he did like sprints all around it really really fast my mum and i looked at eachother and was like WTF? lol but naa it was cute and nice bunny u got there lol
my holland lop named hapy is sooo much fun he is litter box trained and runs around the house and back yard hes sooo cute! and he comes when u call his name too!

Is it possible for us to talk directly through e-mail if you would be willing to help me?
Wow. big air. Your bun is happy. I wish I could get a vid when my bunny is doing that. It's always so spontaneous. A few days ago I made him a blanket tunnel between two chairs and I stuck my face under to say hello and he hopped a little and then when I moved again - he did a binky and raced out of one end to run up behind where I was at. He wanted to play - I really wish I had the vid running. People that don't have bunnies don't know how fun they can be.
@Luci57flavors i actually had to mute the audio because i was sooo shocked to get that on film that i laughed obnoxiously! he does it a lot but i'd have to have the camera running all the time to get them.
@Luci57flavors So true! They can be soooo funny, especially when they binky! And they are very smart and really good friends once you treat them right. But people that dont have bunnies often think that they are just boring and dumb. but that is oh sooo wrong!
@XoGothicGirloX i got 4, cuz i'm greedy and got it bad for wabbits! :) two is really my limit, but when grandpa hit 10 years of age i figured i'd add another, just in case. then...i was raising 3 foster babies and fell in love with one and had to keep her. hence, 2 became 4.
I have a lionhead/angora mix (fluffiest thing ever, but a real trouble maker!), and he binkies all of the time! The first time he did it, it was very startling! XD That has to be the highest binky I think I've ever seen someone catch on camera, though. So congrats! You have one happy rabbit. ;3
Very cute! I got my bunny Jura binkying on video today for the first time. I only recently adopted her, so I think she must be happy here! Her sister is yet to do one though...oneday! Jur'a swasn't as good as Bailey's though, wow what a jump!
it was very funny that i was taping at this very moment. of course i had to delete my voice as i sounded even worse than usual. :) "did you see that? did you get that on tape" and a bunch of laughing. he's quite the acrobat
@mrurt is it normal for a rabbit to throw a binky and wee at the same time because my rabbit lolliepop does it, whenever i put her in my bed she does binkies with weeing at the same timebut thankfully the fleece saves the covers from getting wet
@animalluva227 my boys liked to do binkies and spray me at the same time. as they kick their legs out they can spray a long stream. it is "courtship" /breeding behavior very common in un-neutered bucks who bond with their owners (they would normally spray does). not sure if that's what you are describing but if the bunny is not spayed it is quite possible. minnie was the first female i had that sprayed me, though she didn't have the distance as the boys haha
um, you are asking a very bias individual. for the last ten years + all of my bunnies have been hollands. if you ask rex owners, i'm sure you'd hear favorable comments about them as well.
it could be. i once tried shower curtains and they worked for a while until somebunny decided it would be fun to pull and tear them apart. i haven't had that issue with the heavier vinyl mat that comes with the x-pen kit though. when we travel all bunnies go with, so i set up an x-pen with a vinyl mat.
'other' pets? what other pets are there, i only know about bunny rabbits!! haha i am only about the bunny lol. we have 3 and they are all bonded, all live in the house, free roaming, they have their own bedroom, spoiled rotten
Lol, binkies are bunnies ways of saying that they are content and happy with there owner. They can't wiggle or do much like cats and dogs, so they just binky, i had 4 rabbits, and i miss them all so much.
when I had a house rabbit he used to binky all the time and my husband was terrified of him!!! The poor rabbit would be enjoying himself jumping around like a loon and my husband would be running away from him screaming!!! My rabs died last year and I miss him like mad but it sure is nice not to live with all that fur!
I vacuum every day to keep fur to a minimum. One thing I do is place their pet beds where they love to lay the most, like under my coffee table. The furry pet bed collects allot of fur and keeps it off the carpet but alas it is the price I pay for being a bunny slave.
what happens if both buns dont like to lie in pet beds but prefer to sprawl themselves on every inch of your carpet? Lol...mine unfortunatley do this so i have to use a special hoover designed for fur...even then i still gotta get the rubber soled shoes out haha! My bun bailey loves to let his belly spread like melting butter over the carpet! Gah!! But I love my buns, and I'll stay a bun slave til my dying breath! Even if my dying breath is due to fur balls!
sorry about your bad luck haha. the pet beds are a big hit around here.whenever i look at pictures of angoras i always wonder what their owners were thinking :) i wouldn't be surprised if one day my doctor looks at me and says "i believe you have a furball"
HAHA! I know poor me! Best bit is neither of them are angora bailey is just fluff and then a little more fluff, and hermione is a lionhead so she has more of an excuse for leaving fur everywhere! And then fur molt its HELL!! So out come the brushes and combs, gah! Hermione loves brushes, and bailey only likes his head done, he doesnt wanna look pretty anywhere else, cuz he runs away binkying when i try to go past his head! CHEEK! Lol, he's not afraid and is very handled so I know hes ok.
My bunny loves to binky when he's running around free. He does some crazy twitchy and twisting jumps... I was worried about him until I googled it! Now I know he's just having a great time.
Bailey is gorgeous! He is such a happy bunny and great to see. I'm babysitting a fur baby bunny called Charky who cracked out a few binky's yesterday. AWESOME! xx
I really like how he's allowed to hang out in the living room. Charky is allowed but only under strict supervision. I'm working on it as I would love to be able to just lounge about and not worry about her chewing through the wires [which she's done to her parents in the past and is very lucky she didn't hurt herself] When I can figure out how to upload from my phone, I'll be sure to share the footage with you. Great bunnies! Bailey is GORGEOUS!
That's what I think is hilarious... they LOVE an audience "Look at me whilst I be a little naughty!" I'm going to have so much fun over the next 2 weeks... have a great day - going to go and check out your Bunny Momma site... :)
I've been very sparing with the fruit as I read about poopy butt from you! haha! I'm basically just letting her be who she wants to be with the main aim to just "chill out and hang" - whenever I'm home, the hutch is open and she is free to roam. I think she really loves that. Have a great weekend! Poos are all still really solid little balls of grass! Thanks for your advice! :)
Great site by the way! :) Charky loves loves LOVES grapes, bitten in half to share. I'm taking your list of fave foods with me to the market tonight to get some more yummy stuff for her.
thank you. make sure you are not introducing too many new things all at once. too much veggie or fruit and Charky may end up with "poopy butt". they love love treats but too much sugar is a bad thing for a bunny. drop me an email if you have questions
:O... HOW CUTE! charlie duz that in the garden! please type in Charlie Introduction and u will find a rabbit laying down... rate, comment and watch ma other vids! please...
I just got my holland lop yesterday. She's 8 weeks old and she's not gotten used to us yet. Hopefully, she'll calm down and be happy enough to do a binky or two soon.
isn't that the truth. haha. i deleted my voice as i just couldn't believe i caught it on tape and i sounded so stupid laughing. he's always doing these crazy binkies but never do i get them on tape. he's quite the acrobat.
i love my bunny they really are great pets..... i can sit on my couch and pet him and he'll sit right on my lap. i even got mine from someone who was going to put theirs in a shelter.
he might "look" obese on the video. but he's not. he's 3.5lbs and he is a purebred holland lop. if you look at pictures of purebred hollands they do not look like mixed breed hollands. they are bulky ...like little linebackers :)
My bunny can't do that! but he does jumps and runs around the house alot too. but one thing my bunny does is he runs and stops in front of u to show off his skills
From the petstore they are usually 20 dollars. From the shelter around here, they are 35 dollars. But when you take them home, you need to buy food, vegetables, bedding, a pen for him to live in, and toys. And you need to have a schedule that mainly consists of you being home. Before you get one of those loving animals, LEARN all you can!
It looks like he was showing off. He's very happy!

Bailey is gorgeous! He is such a happy bunny and great to see. I'm babysitting a fur baby bunny called Charky who cracked out a few binky's yesterday. AWESOME! xx
KayPeaaePyaK 2 years ago
thank you. he brings us so much joy, all my bunnies do. glad you enjoyed his videos
mrurt 2 years ago
I really like how he's allowed to hang out in the living room. Charky is allowed but only under strict supervision. I'm working on it as I would love to be able to just lounge about and not worry about her chewing through the wires [which she's done to her parents in the past and is very lucky she didn't hurt herself] When I can figure out how to upload from my phone, I'll be sure to share the footage with you. Great bunnies! Bailey is GORGEOUS!
KayPeaaePyaK 2 years ago
the nice thing about "bunny proofing" is...if you miss something, they are sure to point it out to you. haha
mrurt 2 years ago
That's what I think is hilarious... they LOVE an audience "Look at me whilst I be a little naughty!" I'm going to have so much fun over the next 2 weeks... have a great day - going to go and check out your Bunny Momma site... :)
KayPeaaePyaK 2 years ago
I've been very sparing with the fruit as I read about poopy butt from you! haha! I'm basically just letting her be who she wants to be with the main aim to just "chill out and hang" - whenever I'm home, the hutch is open and she is free to roam. I think she really loves that. Have a great weekend! Poos are all still really solid little balls of grass! Thanks for your advice! :)
KayPeaaePyaK 2 years ago
Hahahaha wow the rabbit is crazy!!!! He should be in the RNBA, Rabbit National Basketball Association of course!
ValkyereHowie 2 years ago
he does gots some skillz don't he?! :)
mrurt 2 years ago
Great site by the way! :) Charky loves loves LOVES grapes, bitten in half to share. I'm taking your list of fave foods with me to the market tonight to get some more yummy stuff for her.
KayPeaaePyaK 2 years ago
thank you. make sure you are not introducing too many new things all at once. too much veggie or fruit and Charky may end up with "poopy butt". they love love treats but too much sugar is a bad thing for a bunny. drop me an email if you have questions

my bunny did that and headbutted the dog! lol XD Cool video

I just got my holland lop yesterday. She's 8 weeks old and she's not gotten used to us yet. Hopefully, she'll calm down and be happy enough to do a binky or two soon.

That rabbit looks obese
kevkevinkev 2 years ago
he might "look" obese on the video. but he's not. he's 3.5lbs and he is a purebred holland lop. if you look at pictures of purebred hollands they do not look like mixed breed hollands. they are bulky ...like little linebackers :)

Wow, you literally have my girlfriend rabbit haha! They look like twins!!! :P

man i sure do want a bunny as a pet. I had one, but some retard down the street let her out of her cage and she ran away:(
fivefamly 2 years ago
um i always wanted to buy/adopt animals like these
could you please tell me how much it would cost?
Naturepheonix 2 years ago
From the petstore they are usually 20 dollars. From the shelter around here, they are 35 dollars. But when you take them home, you need to buy food, vegetables, bedding, a pen for him to live in, and toys. And you need to have a schedule that mainly consists of you being home. Before you get one of those loving animals, LEARN all you can!
misssunshine919 2 years ago
GREAT
thanks for the info!

lazy bones aren't all that bad. :)
grandpa is 9 years old now, it's a real shock when he pulls off an occasional binky or bunny 500. i'm sure it's his arthritic back.
