The United Nations sent over 400 air-strikes from 16 different nations, to stop Saddam. Both France and the U.K participated. I believe that was honorable.

He continued, so the United States volunteered to drive Iraq out of Kuwait, and igniting Operation Desert Shield. Then Desert Storm was ordered, and we invaded Iraq and took Saddam out of power. Both France and the U.K participated. I believe that was honorable.

It was very rare that a soldier intentionally shot and downed an Iraqi Civi, and the ones that did got a dishonorable discharge, and spent time in prison. The US Military went there to take down Saddam Hussien and his
