I did this but I didn't use a magic memory stick or a pandora battery. It's easier to just use the 6.6 -- 6.3? downgrader, install chickhen 6.3, install ofw 5.00 using chickhen, install chicken 5.00, then use hellcat's recovery flaher to install 5.00 m33-6 (or whatever version you want). It worked perfect for me (on a psp 1000).

@kokulink There are two ways to download PSP games. The legal way is buying it from the PlayStation store over the internet. That doesn't require any modding or anything. The illegal way requires custom firmware. Currently custom firmware for the PSP that allows you to play PSP games on the PSP Go is unavailable. But there are these apps on the internet that let you play PS1 or GBA games on PSP. They don't downgrade the PSP, but work with the official fw. Try them if you like the idea.
