@MrBigmac6654 ill post a video of me old 1 soon sounded very similar i had mine tuned with a magnaflow catback 3in piping and pasesetter headers they rust so quick tho but sounded great u yea and also have the slp intake as well i ran a 14.8 as me best and thats not bad now i have a 01 ss and its so much better just a lil more dough
many people with v8s would talk shit on you camaro. some people out there may just not have the money to afford one. i personally like what you did with your camaro.
Look at my videos for my current setup. The link should contain gQdEWQW2PGw
It should be cheaper (if done right) than the setup I had. You can order the cat back from Texas Speed (real cheap), its 3" and you just need headers that go to a 3" collector (like pacesetters that I had in this video) and have the exhaust shop make a S-pipe to join the collector to the cat-back. I like the TSP rumbler sound a lot more. I couldn't get the video to get the sound quite right.
yeoo braa your camaro is bad ass, i got love for american muscle but im an import kinda guy.. anyway i read that you have a header that deletes the cat. i was thinkin about doin this on my rsx type s with race headers but everybody keeps telling me that its not worth it and it'll fuck my car up and all but the race header gets the most power and i work at an automotive sunoco. can you tell me more about deleting the cat if you know anything about it?
Deleting the cat will not hurt your car. The oxygen sensor after the cat is not used by the computer (ECU/PCM) to tune the car. Post-cat sensors only monitor the catalytic converter's efficiency for emissions purposes. Cat-less you can't pass emissions testing without a friendly shop. Most shops check under the car visually for the cat. Some people remove the core of the cat to keep it as a shell and make it look like they have a cat.
Removing the cat will also make your ECU/PCM throw a code and trip the SES (check engine light.) This will also make you fail emission testing since you can't have a check engine light lit and pass. To fix this issue you need to either get an O2 simulator or have the ECU/PCM reflashed with the offending code(s) deleted. I have my P0420 code deleted just to get rid of the SES light since it's annoying.
@suckuhhballbag420 for some environmental reasons, idk i tried and they turned me down, cause kinda burns up all the extra exhaust or something and he said if your year of vehicle was made with one you have to have one to get across the boarder, if you have say a 1964 thunderbird( just for example) and it wasnt built with a cat then you'll be alright
$300 for the headers, install is actually pretty simple, but i recommend welding the Y-pipe to the rest of the exhaust. I also welded the cross over pipe on the drivers side that is supposed to be clamped (the clamp comes with the kit), because the clamp was scraping. Car is lowered so it may not be a big deal for you.
That is truely the best v6 i have ever heard!

@jjgf1116
thanks, it's also supercharged now running methanol injection. some v8s would be embarrassed to run it :).

I love this. I have the same engine in my '96. This is the exact exhaust I've been looking into buying. Are you pretty satisfied with it?
