English Mastiff - Westgort Anticipation

Love the Video!!! Just recently purchased a 10wk old Mastiff and I'm wondering what is the best type of dog food to feed him. The breeder was feeding Science Diet, #1 ingredient 'CORN', which I hear is BAD!!!

@NewMastiffOwner There are so many great foods available now....4Health (Tractor Supply) and Kirkland Signature Chicken and Veggie (Costco) are just two inexpensive, corn wheat and soy free kibbles. Make sure you are feeding an ADULT formula with protien/fat ratios around 24/12....don't feed puppy food!!!!! Feel free to email me with any questions!!

Wow your mastiff, Rocky, is amazing ... a truly magnificent dog. I have a Bull Mastiff called Hugo ... you can check him out on You Tube -- Hugo The Bullmastiff - Best of 2010. He's only young but one day I hope to have an English Mastiff like yours as well ... he is simply a joy to watch running around the fields ... enjoy him!!!

Love èm wish I had the time and space to train one properly. I met one once being walked by a 90 lb pretty girl, he wouldn`t let me get closer then ten feet. Very protective , and i was pleasent and on a knee to prt him...no chance

aww, he looks so happy. reminds me of my english mastiff when he was puppy, he is now eight and is very healthy but only has that kind of energy in short burst. i love playing with him but unfortunately he can only play for a few minutes.

a 30 inch bitch between 140 and 180 is more than abundant. i had seen lady rosalie she was 34.5 and 245 in her prime. but you are right they are not common.

I would be very careful with any one telling you there girl is 34 inches? I have only seen a couple of those in my 30yrs of breeding these great dogs. Good Luck with you new baby.

i will be getting my mastiff puppy at the end of january, i bought him from the largest mastiff breeder(in terms of size of the dogs) in the united states. The dam is 190 LBS AND 34' AT THE WITHERS AND THE SIRE IS 260 LBS and 36' at the withers, very impresive mastiff, but i had to pay $2,500.00 for the puppy.
