  • eat this Lady gaga

  • @xludo220 those 3 are great, but lady gaga is great too... no need to compare ;)

  • fantastic

  • I thought Robert Palmer wasgoing to sing "girl I'm gonna miss you" when he started with "never really understood"

  • More like Jon Bon Phony

  • Jon Bon Jovi has the most amazing stage presence. You can really see it in the way the crowed responds when he steps on stage.

  • I was at this concert at wembley. It was excellent especially Jon Bon Jovi who really pulled out all the stops!! Thanks for reminding me of a great day!!

  • Great Nathan East on the bass!

  • like a sell out work when bon jovi sang the lines, and the people seems that they did't even get the message of the song.

  • Jon Bon Jovi's performance is so sorry, he messed it up trying to sing it like Dylan. Bon Jovi is annoying.

  • WORDS AND MUSIC BY GOD DYLAN...... POWERFUL WORDS WRITTEN BY THE BRAIN OF ROCK

  • A great arrangement. A more better cover trio version I have yet to see. Each one of them can sing it with the soul, passion and respect this song deserves.

Thumbs up for a great cover arrangement!

  • Dedicated to Hosni Mubarak, Saddam Hussein, Maomar Qaddafi, and few more to come...

  • El público solo grita cuando sale Jon...Menuda ovación...

  • Basta con escuchar la ovación del público cuando sale Jon Bon Jovi al escenario, para darse cuenta quién es el mejor de los 3 que participaron de esta canción...

    Bon jovi forever!!!

  • @melpatinia Ya te digo, menuda ovación para Jon..

  • it was good until bon jovi.. blech!

  • i love how certain songs have a different meaning to different generations and it carries through to each, an amaizng experience

  • TO BAD SEAL HATES HIS FANS.

  • Robert always delivered.

  • Any song would sounds great if vinnie does the drums...

  • Jon <3<3<3

  • Excelente versiòn

  • r.i.p. palmer :)

  • kommt ja wohl null an dylan ran...sry

  • See, when Bon Jovi doesnt have a frizzy blonde perm and sings good music he is actually tolerable.

  • i Loved how Robert interduced Bon Jovi.... and Robert, nailed the song... RIP my Frined!!

  • My acrimonious nature? There's no apostrophe in "its" in its possessive form. Somewhere there's a bone to pick that's yet to be chosen. All bones are invested as structural integrals. I'm of the mind that this is the essence to which banal truth must follow.

  • Heidi is a lucky, lucky woman.

  • @Bluedeanie , Seal is one ugly brother with that pocked face

  • @k3304 But damn can he sing

  • luv this version

  • anybody who knows witch year this is ? and mabye where it is ?

  • @johbro10 based only on Jon's hair (and JBJ fans can figure out the year just seeing the hair) and on how young he looked, my guess would be some time between 96 and 98. and it looks like the old Wembley Stadium. Some googling leads to an answer though: Songs and Visions (the Carlsberg Concert '97) at Wembley.

  • Great ! Great!! Great!!!

  • I think robert palmer is a legend of a man

  • This video proves again that Jon is not only a great singer and fantastic preformer but also an exceptional entertainer!

  • great version! :-) robert palmer ... always one of my favs ... time to hear his songs again here on utube.

  • I was 2 in '65

  • Miss Palmer, we all do. Jovi's always been great, I was a big fan from the biginning. Wow, how great it was going to see him and his group beofore they were famous. I was standing behind the stage barrier up front, he was all energy and the group. Always singing with a big smile, came up and gave everyone a high five standing there. Thier big hit then was "She's a little run away". They opened for RAT but they were way better and you could tell they'd be real big one day, He's a great guy!

  • Nop, nobody can do it, like dylan does it

  • RIP Robert Palmer!!

  • How does it feel? Always real good Jon Bon Jovi when you sing....

  • jerzebred - August 08, 2006 is the date the video was posted on YouTube. I believe this is an August 16, 1997 performance at London's Wembley Stadium.

  • Comment removed

  • This can't be 2006 Palmer died in 2003

  • @jerzebred it was uploaded in 2006 :P

  • @LilReynoldsIsBack: Becauese Jon's shit don't stink...........

  • a brave attempt at a classic

  • Resist the NWO, grow a herb/vegetable garden

  • Seal is doing Hendrix's version You can hear it in the way he sings it.

  • Seal is absolutely fabulous, soul and all... and Bon Jovi rocks it to the roof.

Robert Palmer more sedate, but a superb performance: one to keep. NB

  • where was this?

  • @alexoscar23 Wembley Stadium / LONDON

  • I consider palmer most ompressive of all cause he wears a fine suit and thats is the real the song is all about its about being alone

  • love. The crowd seemed to like JBJ the most, I mean listen to all the aplouses. And I started to cry when JBJ finally got on the stage. Love love love.

  • completely fantastic, great examples of 3 men that would never do pathetic lip synching, they do it the proper way. :)

    RIP Robert :(

  • this is the version that hendrix created.... genious and influential!

  • Seal and Palmer just nail it. Incredible voices.

  • Check out my new video

Vakano - Simply Put (um Bluesing)...

  • Wow these three together was an astounding idea. Great performance.

  • @onelovega Cannot agree more with you, its a shame the crowd seems to think otherwise... meh, kids :)

  • i'm right handes and want to learn to play a guitare left handed. it's soo amazing. this performance is great. (ROB R I P !!!)

  • WOW...I've never seen this before, flipping thru some R. Palmer videos and came across this.....luvin' it!!!!!

  • All three singers are doing a great job, but gotta admit: JON BON JOVI steals the show! (as always ;)

  • @Greatmagic Damn he's great !

  • Marvelous -- fantastic chemistry. Robert Palmer, pure magic, miss him so!

  • I loved how Robert Palmer wore a suit. He will be missed!!

  • Is that Vinnie Colaiuta on drums?

  • Soooo awsome! meaningful tune love the group too...

  • Jovi sounds like Dylan himself bw 4:25 and 4:33.

    Lol.

He's doing a very good job.

All the three artists are great in the song, I've enjoyed every moment of it.

  • @fitless

his surname's Bon Jovi, not only Jovi:D his name is Jon:D

however, i agree with you about that

  • @fitless YEAH!!!! i thought it was at first!!! my audio was playin' but not the video!!! then i watched and saw it really was jovi... great job! you said it!!!

  • Robert is amazing!

  • Seal isn't even playing the guitar xD

  • he's not only not really playing, but he also manages to look really ridiculous doing so

  • I can`t belive it!! Bon Jovi singing this song.

    crazy

  • Love Palmer's entrance.

  • great...jon get the crowd...BON JOVI FOREVER...

  • Robert Palmer, the classiest guy in Rock, may his soul rest in peace

  • Yes, Robert is the BEST!

  • seal was th star there... he is the most underrated

  • seal sucks bon jovi is the star

  • I found this on another site.

"Seal, Jon Bon Jovi and Robert Palmer played this classic Dylan song at The Carlsberg Concert held at Wembley Stadium in 1997."

  • Great tribute to a brilliant song!

  • They are all great, doing an incredible job.

John is deliberately sounding like Bob Dylan himself at times.

    Excellent.

  • Love the little laugh from Jon

  • Wow!

  • I think that Seal, Robert and Jon did

a fantastic job on this song. I have never

heard the original rendition of this song,

so I cannot judge who did this better.

The threesome did their best in performing this song.

  • your in for a treat if you hear the original!

  • what year are this video?? (sorry, for my bad english, because i don't speak english)

  • Robert is GREAT !! I love you !!

  • I love Robert and Jon!!! xxx

R.I.P Robert, you were hot. xxx

  • strange - or not how they cheered for one person - go Jon

  • It's so weird hearing this song with a "clean sound"

  • yeah, but is a song recorded in a concert, but no have this bad sound, there's a hard work of edition and sound

  • odd trio but....Robert Palmer RIP

  • Great performance. Where & When was this recorded?

  • It was an elvis tribute concert! recorded about 10 years ago.

  • oh my fkn god, first time ive cn this jon baby ur stl rockn my world!!!! xxx is there anythn this guy cant do? x

  • jon sure is a talented hottest sexiest man ever xxxxxxx

  • Great stuff! 3 absolute legends!!!

  • palmer nr1

  • this is such an odd trio

  • say what you want...but the mans really know how to work a crowd.

  • You may not like the late turn of his music, but as a performer JBJ kicks ass

  • Yes, we are all entitled to highlight our opinions but i suggest that your future posts include some form of justfifcation. Stand alone comments such as "bon jovi sux because he got the loudest applause" simply does NOT cut it and is typical of an uneducated scum bag. If you going to live by the sword prepared to be cut by one. Hope ive taught you valuable lesson in life.

and the winner is...BON JOVI !!

  • "hope ive taught you a valuable lesson...?" pff duude, this is so pathetic - Preaching on Youtube?

  • jon bon jovi is the best in the world!!!

  • Did it ever occur to you that JBJ got an awesome applause because he has sold over 100M albums, which is probably equal to how many times your mamma has been touched.

  • MissesKamikazi - you have as much intelligence as a jewish foreskin.

  • @MisterKamikazi: Suck it yourself.......

  • Best cover

  • ,,wow,,,,

  • robert palmers voice is simply amazing... I miss it so much and him, too!

  • rip robert palmer

  • doesn't that say something though!

  • This is great

  • gaillll.... robert palmer und seal wären garnicht nötig gewesen... jon hätte den song alleine viel besser gesungen...

  • What year was this?

  • 1997

  • Three of my favorite men on one stage this is great!!! Thanks so much!

  • Robert Palmer is the star here!

  • only Robert could rock a suit like that

  • that was simply amazing. 3 great artists with a great song from the great mr.bob dylan

  • Oh this is amazing!such a great show!

  • the best song in history" - according to the rolling stone magazine

  • yes, but in the rolling stone magazine is it bob dylan! it isent bob here

  • so its on the crowd when jon went out..haha he knows how to carry the crowd...and do you know the sayings "save the last for the best"?

  • I agree with ya ther! It was a long wait for Jon, but as always, it's worth the time!

  • OK for all u people that say jon bon jovi is a weak singer go listen to the last lines of livin on a prayer and tell me thats a weak singer

  • Jon just plays with the audiance, i love it, he's great

  • Is the drummer Vinnie Colaiuta?? Which year is it?

  • Jon looked like he was all doped up, and your so right 'Glebemeadow' Jon definately looked like he was on some Mick Jagger "Swagger Juice" LOL!

  • Did you even WATCH this video? The crowd went nuts when Jon came out and in case you're talking about the difference in singers, it's called "personal style", not posing. Look at the crowd, listen, and appreciate what good music is.

  • i was at that concert and jon carried the rest of the so called artists just watch the reaction of the crowd when jon comes on to the stage

  • Seal is the only one who gets the song at all- the other two are on Mick Jagger strutting autopilot

  • well not all feel that way ...and u have 2 respect different opinions..look at the public reaction;)

  • Great tribute to a brilliant song!

  • its interesting how much reaction bon jovi provoke by simply singing a song well and in tune,it seems that there is an utter denial within people to except that jon and the band are talented,he can sing sing a song as well as any other, yet must be slaughtered 4 his performance, people lose all sense of reason when talking about him or them, but in a totally pathetic way that makes them actually seem quite sad, they have talent and thats a fact,u cant deny it,they simply have 2 many fans!!!!!!

  • i know>>>:P he is great

  • If Bon Jovi did not change his style somewhat he would never have lasted through 3 whole decades and still going strong! Sure Jon has lost some power to his voice. That happens with age and tons of concerts, but the thing is they lasted! Thats more than most of their fellow 80s rockers who I also love. Where are they now? When was there last number 1 hit or album. Bon Jovi is one of the few survivors of the death of the music industry along with Aerosmith and Mellencamp.

  • Metallica is still alive and kicking man!

  • worked well

  • i think jon does really well, lost his voice early nineties i think with ops or sumfin.. tell me if im wrong i dont know the history. bt hes a showman, and be fair not many acts get the crowd going like him. its what hes good at. i dont blame him for going commercial, just look at him and the band now.just finished another sell-out world tour.. not got the strongest voice in the business now but check out the video "bon jovi voice tribute pt. 1 lets make it baby" and tell me the man has no talent

  • jon did damage his voice during the late 80s but he sounded great in the early 90s... there is some deterioration in latter part of that decade but it doesn't get really bad until 2002. but in 2008 he's sounded amazing (not including that horrendous tokyo pro shot in january), back to about mid 90s level.

  • he killed it

  • Why are their so many Bon Jovi haters? For god sake the man and the band are both legends and extremely talented. Great guitar, great singing, and incredible songs. Sure Jons looks helped him some along the way, but so did Elvis and coutless other great talents. By the way thats not just my opinion, its a fact and millions of others would agree and you can copy me on that!

  • I half agree with you because you sound like a true 80s rock fan as am I, but not a true hardcore Bon Jovi fan which I am also. I understand where you are coming from though.

  • it's 1997, wembley stadium
