  • your full of shit the movie was awsome, it was scarey, had action, foster was terrific, the aliens werent funny they were ruthless, im sure the audience wouldnt laugh if they were on the ship with those crazy mofos,, i didnt expect alot but it was more then satisfying,, anyone who wants to see a proper review check out the 2 guys on a white couch, this unshaven geek doesnt know what hes talkin about

  • I love Pandorum very much. It looked like compilation of Alien, X-Men, Resident Evil, RoboCop, Serenity and other SCI-FI classics. The atmosphere was really creepy and the acting was great. Ben Foster, Antje Traue, Cung Le and Dennis Quaid did a great job. Thanks God they started making great films again

  • I found the same sandwich picture, looking for sandwich pictures one day. synchromystic.

    and surrogates was allright.

  • Absolutely pathetic review. You gave no real reasons why it only deserved to be watched on TV. I thought this movie was quite good. Not amazing, but definitely worth the ticket price. Sci Fi/Horror flicks are few and far between, and this one did a good job of keeping you interested in the characters and events taking place. The acting was great, the sets were great (not a lot of cgi which isnt a bad thing). Overall it was a good movie. Better than most stuff that's come out recently.

  • I waited for it to come on DVD and I thought it was a great movie. Makes you think about what if shit like that really happenede and Earth ran out of resources. Anyways the only thing i dont get is how these creatures came to be? injecting serum that evolved them?

  • I thought this was a very original story line and didn't think they needed to introduce the aliens in a special fasion because it wasn't about the aliens on board. In the movie alien, the creature design was ground-breaking and needed to be introduced "fasionably".

  • Personally, I loved the movie. I think the story was meant to be rushed to add the affect of them waking up and not knowing whats going on. I think people are getting spoiled because they expect movies to explain every inch of detail, and in Sci Fi movies especially, this is not the case. And I am sick of people comparing Alien to this movie. JUST BECAUSE IT IS A SCI FI MOVIE DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE COPYING OFF OF ALIEN!

Loved the movie, go see it. Fuck snooty bitches with sticks up their asses.

  • dito

  • i dnt think the movie really explained anything properly, monsters werent scary as i thought they'd be, they wernt properly introduced,1 bit this man actually bumps into 1 and the monster just gave him a spear to fight him with. i thought that bit was slightly stupid. But at the end they actually find out there on the planet so i think the 2nd one is gonna be good. , the start is really good. But the movie kinda confused me though, HELP, u need an open mind while watchin it.

  • its pandorum nor pandoruume

  • hmmm first review i've seen that didn't really like it. wonder if i should still see it

  • go watch it. don't let a bad review stop you. it's too easy for anyone to bash or praise a movie. i personally thought it was really really cool. just go in, keep an open mind, and fantasize instead of criticize.

people are stupid to got watch something like this and say "i didn't really buy it....". It's science FICTION and I have yet to figure out why people bitch about it not being realistic.

    Great movie. don't miss it.

  • *SPOILER*

THis movie's creatures aren't 'infected' they were injected with a serum that would promote a faster evolution. It is a great idea considering that this is a new planet and it's not something human are used to. Plan went wrong for the humans taken out of there sleeping state and this serum kicks in and the humans evolve to survive in their new home, the space ship.

No infection, no creating nothing like that.

    *end of spoiler*

  • You are dumb! I want to a flesh eating monster come at you and watch you laugh and say "Haha it's eating me what a silly little creature!"

  • I never saw this movie YET, Im tryin 2 see it friday. Sorry jimgisriel, but it looks nothing like "Silly" or "Funny". Looks more like "A kick ass Horror movie that you want 2 see!"

  • there were some parts (the part with the black guy about to eat them) that i thought were fucking hilarious. i couldn't stop laughing for like five straight minutes after he was like, well, it's tuesday... so i have no idea how long i've been awake. it was the type of movie that was like, HOLYSHITTHATWASSCARYBUTTHANK GODIT'SOVER. not to say it was bad, but i wasn't left with the feeling that they were coming for me next. i just wish they had explained the monsters better.

  • The 'FONT'S' are nothing alike,,, The 'A's and 'R's are so obviously different,,, the only characteristics they have in common is the 'Edging sequence'.....

By the way ppl,,, SURROGATES is a pretty cool movie.......

  • Silly my ass!!! This is a great sci-fi film. Nowhere near silly at all. Obviously, you were both high and stoned while watching and reviewing this.

  • You have already been bashed for not knowing who Ben Fostor is, so there's no need to rehash that:)

Movie is worth seeing: any sci-fan

    would enjoy this.

Space + the end of the world + aliens+ chick with knives

  • Did you get a comment suggesting that you're an employee of the studio for knocking this guy's opinion? I did.

  • i'm just saying it's a little odd you made an account the saturday after this film came out and only comment on Pandorum reviews.

  • Hey, I was curious to see what people were saying about it, and so I checked it out... and was irked enough by your over use of the word "silly", to actually comment. I have a gmail acct, so it took me 2 seconds to sign up... period. Jesus if you put this kind of effort into your review... it might have been worthwhile.

You weren't alone though, there was a gay model and an emo kid that were even less talented than you... (who I also commented on), so you can feel good about that. :)

  • question: I watched the movie today. But I skipped first 15 minutes. Who were those monsters and where did they come from? And did the Earth really blew up and that this is last humans who are trying to find new home? And did it took 900 years to get their? And at the end. I know 1,000 or 10,000 people survived but wut about those monsters? they didn't die? so is that mean, these humans have to fight them again in the ground? And how did the first guy and others woke up from that sleep?

  • I can answer a few of your questions but I forgotten some bits. The monsters are people who woke up earlier. They were woken by Denis Quaid's character and banished to the lower decks of the ship where they began to evolve rapidly due to the chemicals they were injected with while they were in hypersleep (to help them adapt to the planet they were going to). It took them 900 years to get there. The earth blew up and they were the last humans. The hypersleep chambers are timed and can be triggered.

  • So just part of humans were injected? from earth or did Denis did? So, Denis killed the crew and then got few hundred people out and they just lived on the lower deck? but why? and then Denis went back to sleep? And at the end. the mosters didn't died? so I guess they have to fight on the land? so it was 1,000 people who survived right?

  • are you retarded why are you ruining the movie are you stupid its called spoiler alert

  • oh no. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do that. Oh my, what have I done.

  • I made the same mistake of mispronouncing the title in my review. Look closely and you'll see that the colors and my hair shift at times, that's clips from my re-shoot.

  • Oh look, the gay model with tribbles for eyebrows and an Izod shirt from 1982 is here... cool... hack critics unite! Power to the wannabes.

  • i was like you. first act was entertaing then it got a little silly from there on in. rental or hbo.

  • Pandorium? You didn't know who Ben Foster was? You should really be ashamed. What a half assed effort.

The flick was entertaining, much better than Surrogates... and the mark of a lazy critic iswhen you hear him/her say... "This is like Alien." The ship is reminiscent of Alien but the story isn't. The"monsters" as this "critic" put it, aren't even monsters... or for that matter, aliens.

Just a lazy effort... really lazy.

Production values great. Acting good. Worth seeing.

  • Ben foster are u serious? He's amazing in Alpha Dog..some of the best acting i've seen.
