but i agree with all who said that this isn't anything special - a four-door DB9. in fact, i'd go so far as to say that it's almost too radical; not in-keeping with the Aston Martin tradition of GTs and other such two-door vehicles.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for me it is like making a 4 door Ferrari. I definitely can not complain about 3 more chicks...hahaha... but if I want a 4 door I'll pick a Bentley. I'll take a 2 door Vantage over the Rapide though. Used DB9 is not too bad, around $80-90k, but it is still a bit up there and maintenance cost will kill your pocket.

A friend of mine actually works at the local aston/porsche dealership and he said theyre speeding up production to get it released by mid to late 2008 because of the apparent high demand for it. You gotta admit it really is a beautiful car.

this car is currently a concept, but they said if we get a good enough reaction from this and there is a demand,they will certainly put therapide into production. This is there car to enter into the 4door saloon market.

Is this going into production? I LOVE astons but is there really a market for a 4 door DB9? The Bentley flying spur is more of a 'proper saloon car'. Its a beautiful looking car but i don't think it'll be a big success, I think they should have made a 2 door, 4 seater e.g. ferarri 612. But thats my opinion!

This is more of a "we built/own it cos we can" kinda car. I dont think this will ever be as popular as the legendary DBs. But then again, thats the purpose of a concept; push teh envelope and gauge the reaction. Beautifully crafted either way...
