@weird2325 ..u didnt see it b/c the person filming only focused on the angry male. In the beginning, he never shows the cubs whom I later realized must have been in the bush BEHIND the angry male. The cubs and lionesses all looked sickly anyway ..so Idk why J.Varty, Brits & the French in Africa keep asking the world to help fund their big cat bootleg camps (tourist traps).. telling us they're going extinct. Those frauds only protect & look out for their fav cats they know personally, smdh!

@Junde801 he latched on to this pride for sometime, that was his dad that was protecting him, he was the pride male who mated with the females that were run off, but the cub eventually died of poor health from what I have read

Good video. Good father lion, ... and prestigious tv documentaries hardly ever show that usual and right behaviour from the male lion protecting his cubs (and more tasks). They usually (and only) tell that the male lion do nothing..., that lionesses do everything..., and that is proven as false. They ignore or hate the role of the male lion, that's the reason.

It is very rare for lions/lionesses to kill their own young..I've seen it only in one documentary & that was during the dry season where a cub tried to get a share of the meager food & the male hurt him, but that was during a very volatile time where food was scarce..so I have to disagree with you
