  • i know it was my idea,, damn, i never did that one, thanks for doing a great job with it, 5/5

  • lol i did a horrible job on it, when i go out scouting for more good birch bark, i'm going to redo my holder and my birch bark sheath. my dog get to my first one, along with the handle and sheath on my first fast knife! i come home and she chewing on my knife handle! lol but im happy she didnt cut herself, shes smart enough to not bite the blade lol

  • Fantastic Kal. It may not last but you still have the skill sto make another. As for the pitch glue, if you add charcoal to the pitch I think it makes it more durable. I have never made this stuff so you would have to experiment with the mixture.

  • wow i have 1 of those lol its very durable and light weight 5/5

  • thats a really good idea :D

    5/5

  • thanks Jack, but its still pretty crude. the pitch glue is very brittle and it needs some more elasticity. i'm thinking about making some birch tar so replace the pine pitch.=D

  • ***** birchtrees are fantastic.great idea.

  • thats cool 5/5

  • Wow even though you don't seem to happy with it ( no offense ) I think its ingenious! I mean If I were you I wouldn't go around school wearing it but it seems sturdy enough to get the job done.

  • That's pretty cool. Great job ED
