Yikes! 2:53, red car crossing in your path, is it you that has to yield to them? he crossed 2 lanes of traffic to get to an outside lane. you'd get a ticket here doing that!

the squiggly line as you call them denote a crossing and your not allowed to park onn the side of the road where they are not even with a disabled badge.

2:53 is a round about, which is give way to the right so the red car was correct and it was a perfectly legal monouver.

Thats true. Boltons not that bad, has some beautiful surrounding countryside - but if its rolling green hills and valleys and forests your after then Scotland is the place to be! The highlands are not only beautiful but give you the most overwhelming feeling at times. Magic!
