I absolutely agree. Ubuntu is a great starting point in Linux, and I have used more advanced distros like Arch linux and Gentoo but I usually switch back to Ubuntu after a while because of a very big repository that is well-updated and I like the start design (with Pulseaudio etc).
Idk if I should switch from vista to ubuntu. Ubuntu looks really easy to use but a lot of games and programs will not work without this wine thing. So I have a few questions, Can I run pretty much any game I want? Also, is wine easy to use? Or is it extremely hard to configure? And, can I take some of my files from vista that are already installed and import them to linux?
Wine works with most windows apps Games only a few all the new games that just came out arent gonna work wow ine easy to to configure depending on the app you gonna install
It really depends on the program, but you don't have to switch completely. You could do a dual-boot (have both OS's on one machine) and see if you like it or not.
I found some nice GTK2+ and Metacity themes at Gnome-look. I don't remember right now what the themes are called, since I removed them and got some other nice look.
Okey, the easiest way is to install PlayOnLinux (just search on Google) and install Warcraft III and Frozen Throne with it. It's a very good Frontend for Wine with many premade installation scripts! :)
И Линукс И Варкрафт вещи хорошие. Но о чем вообще этот ролик?

I found the wallpaper! Search "morning 1680" on Google and you will find it on the first page. Can't post a link in comments due to spam filters.

Yes, it's a quite big list of games that Wine handles! And it grows bigger and bigger for each day. :)
