But Uluru is an aboriginal land mark, a natural rock formation in the centre of australia, and is pronounced ohh loo roo as I said.

@qfrasier His father didn't found uluru he's just a proprieter. they just sell the ukele's that they import from vietnam. Also his pronunciation is indeed wrong Uluru is pronounced ool-a-roo. the a sound is very short so it sounds like a u.

Wade....at your advanced skill level, I think you should look into purchasing an 8string tenor Uke. It is like playing two ukuleles at one time, and the sound is great. It sounds even better when accompanied by a guitar...they blend well. Something to think about. Have fun!

I've seen another of your videos where you are using an "Applause" soprano ukulele. I have one, although I prefer the tenor size, and it has excellent sound. Why don't you use it anymore?

The sound of the Applause uke is really shallow, but they sound decent plugged in. My Uluru is a much more authentic uke sound, and it has fantastic acoustics. It's also handmade of all solid woods, rather than mass produced like the Applause.

True...one cannot beat the acoustic qualities of handmade solid wood instrument. Of course the price goes up accordingly. :-) The KOA wood also gives it a distinctly Hawaiian sound. I notice you use Aquila "Nylgut" strings...good choice. Whatever, I'm a big fan of yours, and you are a very talented young man.
