  • @zholerz Yeah that means you're still using your arms and shoulders too much. Try to roll higher, over your back and also over your head. That way you don't need your arms as much and you can keep your hands at your nuts.. practise practise :)

  • @MrPooface11 The technique is a bit different. Instead of rolling, you hop really fast from one shoulder to the other. If you can do barrels, just focus on making that fast hop while rolling high on your back (important).

  • @VICTOR7oh2 Nope, this surface was soft. If you do it correctly you place your head on the floor very gentle so it doesn't hurt..

  • @linkinhoward On this mat it didn't but on a hard floor it will hurt if your shoulder hits the floor. I have this problem when training babymills.

    The trick is to roll over your head so far, that the back of your shoulder hits the floor instead of the front. It takes a lot of training to get to that point, but it also makes your nutcracker a lot faster.

  • @VICTOR7oh2 it doesnt because hes rolling accross the floor with his milss that s the pproper way you only hurt your head when you throw your forehead face first thats a common mistake in a bboy or bgirl especialy when they are first learning windmills with there head

  • Actually the floor pad really helped. It's smooth so you can spin but it's also soft so you can do moves without any fear of pain.

  • It depends on the boxershort that I'm wearing. But I can assure you that after doing a Kneespin I have to 'put things straight' ;-)

  • try jump in ur back it will make u more momentum... i doing nutcracker's and i jump in my back and land in my back too ^^ i only land 1 spot in my body doing nutcracker... not even my head not shoulder only at my back :)

  • First few rotations yes (with hand), then I go into nutcracker (holding your hands over your groin).

  • It is a windmill variation. When doing nutcrackers you cover your groin (nuts) with your hands. There are all kinds of variations where you don't use your hands (for example: nohanders, nutcrackers, barrel windmills).

    Anyway, the windmill really took me years to learn. I was also on and off it for ages, but slowly it got better and better. Just train really hard and frequently. Keep your legs spread apart as much as you can and stretch a lot, the better your splits the easier!

  • It's a reflex of your body so you go a bit faster. Practise the windmill a bit slower then you're used to, that way you can focus on your technique and keep your legs more apart. And stretch the split ever day, helps a lot!

  • Yeah, you have to twist your upper body very fast and also twist your hips very fast. It's a bit easier with your head on the ground.

  • Yeah that happens at first. Wear something soft on your head and try to put your head earlier on the ground. Also turn your head in the direction that you're going. That makes it easier to put weight on it. Good luck!

  • Make sure you go really fast, swing with your legs and hips and keep your legs spread apart as much as you can. When you are turning over to face the floor, push your hips upward really hard. The higher your hips are when facing the floor, the easier.
