Man I missed this when it was running on Boomerang. I hate how inconsistent that channel is. They have one set of cartoons from the 60s - 70s they run constantly over and over and then at random times the'll get shows like JEM, The Completely Misadventures of Ed Grimley, or some other really cool 80s show.. then it will go off the air again in weeks. It's like some college intern is there that just randomly punches a button when he feels like it. Ed Grimley came on once or twice at 2 AM.

It actually feels like a dream and carries the theme much better then her usual "Unicorns and rainbows" music video.

There is still more closure that needs to take place. Rio's finding out about Jerrica/Jem, Riot and Jem. I say do an animated movie that puts everything to a closure. An older Jerrica can take the viewers back to 1988 and the story can continue from there. I think that last episode was thrown together at the last minute according to the airdate being far from the other episodes. I wonder if the episode was still in preparation. Jerrica was setting herself up for trouble. She had Rio thinking that she was two separate people. I don't like how he had dated them both but she played a game and made him look stupid to those who knew. Jerrica later became attracted to Rio who was seriously attracted to Jerrica's alter ego, Jem. Towards the end of the series, it seem liked Jem and Riot were starting something. Supposed they marry &Jem tells him that she is really Jerrica? Jer, don't bite off more that you can chew. LOL

There is an oversaturation of Comedies, a drought on dynamic plot based cartoons, Too much focus on being Politically correct, no ambiguity at all, no depth either.

This show couldn't be made today even if they tried... Simply because... Well the Misfits. Could you imagine a non-evil anti-villain or even Anti-hero who REAL talent in a show for children? I am astounded that Jem has more depth then just about any cartoon today!
