There is a guy who has a whole collection of old drag cars among those are the Yankee Peddler and many others. He was featured not long ago in Hot Rod i think. I wouldnt be suprised if all these are his.
I subscibed to Hot Rod magazine back in those days and followed these cars very closely. It's so cool now to see them again. I saw Ronnie Sox '68 cuda make a couple exibition runs just before he died. He was too sick to drive the car himself but at least I saw it run for real. I'm an old mopar guy all the way but that cammer is way impressive to see too.
yea, dude that car was unstoppable back in its day.. My father grew up the the late 60's and early 70's he got a bunch of old memorbelia ( parts, magazines, and car track E.T.'s, etc.. We've got an old Weber fuel injection kit that goes to the '65 Sox & Martin Plymouth satellite better known as the "Paper Tiger".
yes they are all the real cars, not fakes

The guy that was staging the cars told me that those were the actual cars, and not replicas...including the Barracuda.

That Ford was NASTY!
A 427 SOHC with manual fuel injection... holy crap, I would NOT want to race against that.

Not too hard to beat with any of those 426 Hemi dual carb engines you see in the rest of the video.
