I think Achtung Baby is the best album and this is the best song of U2, in 1993 was the last time that U2 play Ultraviolet, now they include it in 360 tour.

This is one of the best perfomances of "Ultraviolet" that I have ever seen.

Wow, Bono's voice is so strong and has so many depths...

Even now on the "360 Tour" where it gets played almost every night they do not get that "vibe" and the passion that they were able to display in the "ZOO TV" era.

Sadly, Bono's voice is suffering from wear and tear i'm afraid too.....

Nevertheless, U2 remains one of the best and most heartwarming band EVER.

Yup, Mirror Ball Man appeared on the first two legs of the Zoo TV tour (North America and Europe) as well as the Zoo TV Outside Broadcast shows in North America.

Mr. MacPhisto replaced Mirror Ball Man in the Zooropa, Zoomerang, New Zooland and Japan shows.

It kills me to say it, but I have to agree with you. I've been a U2 nutcase since '84 so I know U2 are capable of conjuring magic out of thin air, but this new album is a disappointment. Some of the lyrics are so cheesy they make me cringe. Don't get me wrong, they are still the best live band on the planet. It's just that I have no idea what they were thinking when they wrote Boots, Crazy, Breathe, etc.

Having said that, the first track No Line On The Horizon is awesome. Total wall of sound.

Every time I listen to this song I can't help but think to myself "they just don't do it like they use to." I don't think their new stuff is 'crap' but where is the gorgeous melody and the heartstoping lyrics that Ultraviolet displays EVERY SINGLE TIME I listen to it. An abosutley timeless piece of music.

I so agree with you guys. I'm starting to think that we were just lucky to have been around to witness the caliber of music U2 put out in our lifetime. I mean, if some new band released an album like No Line, I'd probably be singing their praises from the highest mountain tops. Problem is, we were lucky enough to be around to witness the release of utter classics like NYD, Pride, Bad, WOWY, WTSHNN, etc. So, in comparison, everything else can't help but suck. We've been spoiled. Now what???
