@RichWalston 2x 28 mm turnygy motors with 3000 mah battery. It is realy easy to climb with the twinstar 2 and it is big enought to see it really far.

It is possible to get up to very high altitudes without doing FPV. The people that do it typically know what they are doing. It's just a skill you build up.

I fly without FPV all the time and I reach over 2000 ft and am able to keep my plane in sight as long as I dont take my eyes off it, plus I have my MD80 mini cam mounted on top of it.

I saw my plane throught cloud because I was never deep in it and I was always around a hole in the clouds to gave me a chance.

If you learn on day to fly planes, you will understand that you can reach high altitude without FPV gear with a big plane!

@javipons22 i also reached a similar altitude without fpv-gear and a 1,6m-glider. not easy to see what the plane is doing, but if you concentrate, you can see at least where it ist and how fast it is moving. this ist enough to fly it if it is not too windy and you know your plane.
