  • This is the song I'm playing for my fine arts concert but I don't play it nearly as well >,<

  • Applauded!

  • Wonderful. Thank You.

  • OMG U R EPICLY AMAZING!!!!! PLLEEEAAAASSSSEEEEEEEEEEE DO A TUTORIAL!!!

  • thats the worst "old mcdonald' i ever heard

  • Wow! you did a very fine job! I'm going to practice this song, and this was a major help!

  • One of the best at this tune, I love your style, thank you.

    Bless the music makers.

  • awesome!!

  • Oooh, lovely work!

  • I have to say it sends a chill down my spine (in a good way). When I listen to beautiful music, I consider it a surge of inspiration and there's a great feeling of pride in the person's ability to produce this kind of sound. Very amazing indeed. Bone chilling would not be the best term. That would be more for a horror movie.

  • Thanks you really helped me with the tune. Thanks!!!

  • Bravo! One of the better renditions of the piece found on Youtube.

  • Thankyou Michael, my friend..your talent is here and lives on...you are an inspiration to me, Tom

  • beautiful

  • Amazingg!!

  • i need some sheet music with those chords

  • Well I just think this is Pure Brilliance!!

    Thank you, thank you !!!

  • Wow this is beautiful. :) great job

  • This is great rendition of music that fit perfectly with the film

  • Really nice!!!! beautiful!

  • I'm not with the tempo changes. I agree it helps the piece, but not those particular ones.

  • im playing thiis song too at my school

  • Me, too. It's uber easy.

  • snaps to you!, my orchestra is playing this song and its super pretty

  • Good job, yet it seems that your phrases are a little speedy. Another tip is to remember to utilize your whole bow width! It seems you play mostly at the top half, while leaving your bottom untouched.. it could give you more general volume! Nicely done though, the simplicity of your playing really shines through.

  • very sorry to hear that you have passed :(

  • do u mean he died?

  • that... was... beautiful

  • i really love the background =)

    great job!!

  • Wow! That's as good as the film version, if not as well-recorded.

  • *claps* :D

  • this is really great!

i might be playing this piece at a wedding, so you've given me some inspiration, thanks a lot :P

  • I play this song in Orchestra. This is much better than how I play it

  • Conversations with the dead, strange and sad. Something that I expect will happen more and more as time goes by in the internet age. Sad, and yet, a strange sort of immortality at the same time. Oddly hopeful, in a way. Beautiful piece beautifully played. Thank you.

  • Realy beautiful, I'm fairly new to violin playing and love the simplicity and feeling of story telling with this tune. Thanks

  • cool

  • Ive been working on this song. So far ive been having trouble but this helps, thanks.

  • Same here.

    Thanks!!

    ^ ^

  • love this <3

  • Very good.....thank you!

  • thanks for the song One question the audio has a clitch sound like a vinyl record would have , what is it

  • Damn, this guy's dead. Fuck the world.

  • hey you are very good

  • Awesome...gave me chills!!

  • I like your ornamentation... gives me some ideas for my own version (I've been playing it pretty literally from the sheet music). Good show, thanks. KVN

  • I haven't been playing it from the sheet music, but i know what you mean. I have a version on my page, but it is not very good. i will use this to help me add some things to my version.

  • Great!!!! Thank you for playing this beautiful, ghostly tune.

  • one of my most favorite songs, i played it in a festival last year.

    beautiful playing, your fantastic.

  • Lovely. Thank you.

  • wow. beautiful playing on this song! it is my favorite, and your version does it justice

  • What a lovely version by Michael Kahan. And what a shock! I just heard of this man minutes ago while surfing through different versions of this tune. Now I find out that he was stabbed to death June 1st 2008 by a mental patient in Manchester England while going to pick up breakfast. He was to celebrate his 40th birthday with his family the next day. How terribly sad and what a waste on so many levels. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

  • i been playing it for half an a year and i learn this song but i play it really bad hehe. ur lucky u can play it so good ^_^

  • ive played for 14 years. i think you sound great

  • goodbye: the world's a better place for having had you in it. Fiona

  • Thankyou Michael for being such a great person and a wonderful musician.

  • What a wonderful peice of music and played by a lovely man. It brings me great saddness to hear that he was recently stabbed to death..

RIP Michael Khan we wish we had seen more of you recently. (the family Elliott)

  • My son is currently learning this piece. and we all enjoyed listening to your performance. Thanks for posting this.

  • very good! beautiful! bravo!

  • Really lovely (honest; I'm a violinist myself and a really critical listener). Your instrument sounds great to me; any deficiencies in the sound sound like they're related to the camera, not your violin. Have fun performing.

  • You play this piece very nicely, but your instrument doesn't sound so good (compared to others on this site). I don't know anything about violins, so can't comment on what the problem might be. Hopefully someone else can.
