All it's doing is bashing Christians and Christ Followers alike, confusing those who are just starting in there faith, and is doing nothing for the glory of God by saying " I'm right". I think they're both not good examples of Christ. One is like, "I'm perfect" the other is "I'm a loser, but that's ok, we're all mess-ups" Jesus said to "be perfect therefore as I am perfect" Neither of them seem to have the passion it requires to be a true Christ Follower.

Jesus tells a man how to get to heaven in Luke 18:18. If this is not true, why did he lie to this man? and if it is just true for that man, why would he play favorites and make it harder for some to get to heaven than others? How is that just?
Not everyone has the same expectations to get to Heaven. This man had to rethink what he put his value in. We all can represent Christ dependent on our situation and how He wants to use us, Each person has his/her own situation that God understands and is ultimately able to use for His glory.
So he IS playing favorites. He supposedly creates people knowing some will have to work harder to get into heaven than others, depending on the circumstances he puts them in. How would it be just for God to put one man in a hard situation, which he fails to overcome and ends up in hell, while making it easy for another man to get into heaven (knowing the second man would have failed too if he was in the first mans situation)?
not necessarily. In Psalm 22, God offers us the outlet for getting through any situation, and He never gives us more than we can handle if we trust and believe in Him. God does not put man in a situation, Man puts himself in a situation, God simply carries out the consequences associated with sin that is not turned from.
What if the 'believing in him' IS the struggle? God supposedly knows what I think, and it would take him appearing to me (and many others that could verify it ) in order for me to 'believe in him.' So me using logic and reason to dismiss the kind of evidence for him that is also present for the many other 'false gods' and his not presenting the evidence he knows I need is my fault? He supposedly appeared to other people, why not me? Why won't he do this one thing to save me from hellfire?
He appeared to others in the stories of the Bible correct? He spoke to them directly in many cases. Why doesn't He do that today is the question many have. We follow a leader by trust, by faith. A leader earns their trust by admirable works that others witness and want to emulate. God's work is evident, but when we refuse to acknowledge it then we blind ourselves.

You seem to see God as nothing more than a Punisher, and that is not true. God explains what the consequence of our sin is, He isn't just going to make it up on Judgment Day. God lets the consequences of our decisions play out on their own.
Imagine you see someone you love walking down a sidewalk. They are walking straight towards an open manhole, which will surely kill them if they fall in. They pass several signs, but for whatever reason (they dont believe the signs, they dont notice them, etc) they just keep walking. You try to shout them a warning, but they dont hear you or don't believe you and just keep walking. Would you just say 'well it's their choice, they made those decisions' or do you run and stop them however you can?
I would try and stop them however I could, however, should they push me away, then there still would be nothing I could do. You seem to be trying to put God in a box, which shouldn't happen (even though most of the church does...). God isn't meant to be understood, but if you trust in Him, and have total faith, than He will answer. If you doubt, of course you won't be answered. Why should someone give you anything when you don't trust them?
True, if they pushed you away, you might have to force to overcome the struggle of the person, but, were you to have the strength, would you take them out of the way against their struggling?

What I think may not necessarily be what God thinks, and what God does, I may not understand until the end of time, but I have to accept that it all is working for a greater purpose, and so far I have seen the several connections of that purpose in my life and I am seeing how things are playing out. This debate should be, in my opinion, dropped all together. All it's doing is bashing Christians and Christ Followers alike, confusing those who are just starting in there faith, and is doing nothing for the glory of God by saying " I'm right". My Gg always would go to church with who every asked, and people would asker her what was the best kind of church, and she would always say a round one, cause the Devil can't corner you. We need to start thinking like that, and stop this feud in the body.

What if the 'believing in him' IS the struggle? God supposedly knows what I think, and it would take him appearing to me (and many others that could verify it ) in order for me to 'believe in him.' We follow a leader by trust, by faith. A leader earns their trust by admirable works that others witness and want to emulate. God's work is evident, but when we refuse to acknowledge it then we blind ourselves.
However, I do not speak for God in your situation, or in any, for that matter. What His plans are for you for for Him to know and for you to experience.

Imagine you see someone you love walking down a sidewalk. They are walking straight towards an open manhole, which will surely kill them if they fall in. They pass several signs, but for whatever reason (they dont believe the signs, they dont notice them, etc) they just keep walking. You try to shout them a warning, but they dont hear you or don't believe you and just keep walking. Would you just say 'well it's their choice, they made those decisions' or do you run and stop them however you can?

What I think may not necessarily be what God thinks, and what God does, I may not understand until the end of time, but I have to accept that it all is working for a greater purpose, and so far I have seen the several connections of that purpose in my life and I am seeing how things are playing out.
