Most likely irrelevant but we have a Channel 7 news station/channel in australia so bit of shake of the head moment and lol for me when I first saw him
It seems like some of them didn't. Both mine and my friends didn't until modified, but I hear other ones worked fine out of the package. Weird, huh? I'm just glad it was an easy fix.
My friend had a Classics Sideswipe where his thighs were backwards in package! whoa!
It's Blazemaster in refrence to Blaze Master of G1 who flew low over enimies and used a napalm-like substance to burn and melt them. His ROTF bio is very similar to the G1 bio. His G1 toy had his blades attached to his left arm.
Really? No kidding? When I first got it, I noticed that it was the same helicopter as the Coast Guard uses. Why would a news chopper need a hoist winch off the right side anyway? Good call on the blades. Mine never stayed put, too.
Oh really? Wow. I played the PC version of the first movie game, but didn't see any copters like him. Course, the DS games were different. I didn't realize they were THAT different though.
LOL. Nope. Not on mine or my friend's. I've heard from several others that theirs folded in naturally, and others that it didn't, like with ours, so there must have been a variance in a production run or something.
So, I didn't even really mod it, just 'fixed' it. haha.
can you tell me how to give ROTF FAB prime elbow articulation? his knees bend slightly but i nkow why, i just have to take off some plastic that's on the sides of his thighs.
Sorry 9mandazi9, but I don't have any FAB figures, so I can't help ya on this one. I don't know what the existing joint looks like, otherwise, I'd be happy to help ya.
no prob, but i think i could be able to cut off the arm and leave the upper arm sides, put pegs on the inside of the upper arm and dremel some holes in the sides of the lower arms so that the arm can bend.
I actually had did this a couple weeks ago, close after it came out. The difference is though that I didn't even have to file anything. I pushed really hard for a couple days just trying randomly and eventually it jut folded up
Some people have noted to me that theirs folded up okay straight out of the package... that's interesting. I guess there might have been a slight variation in assembly when manufacturing waves.
very cool mod. It does seem to conencidental "since it fits in that slot in robot mode", its like they was planning on having the wheel that way. I guess they just forgot to implement it
Thanks. Yea, sometimes they come so close... yet it's not quite there... This was such a tiny mold difference. Maybe it was put in backwards on assembly, it might still fold back that way. Who knows...
Or sometimes it's implemented, like my video on Dead End, but it's not included in the instructions, so many people never realize it.

Thanks for the awesome reference. I guess it's a pretty good homage after all.
Now they're making an Evac colored one too.

Blasemater's vehicle mode looks like the news copter in the Transformers Autobots/Decepticon game for Nintendo DS
Viewer012395 2 years ago
Oh really? He made it into the game, eh? I haven't played any of the ROTF games.
Does he transform in the game too?
chris24jc 2 years ago
it's not a ROTF game, it's the original
Yea for course he transforms lol

Is he an enemy you can fight?
chris24jc 2 years ago
no, he's a hidden vehicle form found in Casino Strip, and you cant battle him, only the decepticons, Megatron,Starscream,Barricade,Brawl

lolz you dumbass(im not bein mean) the front landing gear could always fold up, so you modded it for nothing lol

I demand you retract your dumbass. LOL.
chris24jc 2 years ago
lol hmm i guess there is some variation. he looks like a very cool helicopter too
nocturnal30 2 years ago
Yea he does... nice and sleek. I expect some repaints of him as some kinda stealth chopper or something militaristic.
I'm just looking forward to some color on his blades. The stark white is terrible. I'm tempted to paint them myself...
