They are not the indigenous people of the land, a whole black race cannot have been wiped out in the whole of Arabia and Middle east as many claim, that would lead us to question which planet did the Arabs come from if Africa and Asia is for blacks. Do not make out like the Arian , racist Nazis who claim North Africa was white. Their ancestors were slaves , some intermarried some kept to themselves,
"Black Beduines" are descendants of African slaves bought by the actual Beduines (which are dark skinned, but in no way black) and freed only with the creation of the state of Israel and the immediate abolishment of slavery.
@tFighterPilot we know this is a lie. There have been black people in that area since time began. Herodotus described the Phoenicians as "ethiopian". Do research, don't spout stupidity, shows your ignorance.
@tFighterPilot proof? We have proof that there were blacks in that area before any whites were. Look up the "natufians". So besides your imagination, what do you have to prove this?
That name came from the Jahilia time when the salves were Africans, after Islam it was banned, yet some still use it without thinking, even when married to black partners , they both end up using it. Abed means slave
The time has come adrenal whose side are you on eidereen know a hell and heaven are safe your soul is the only way Islam and Allah SWT is the only god
@FoziaAbdi After reading all of the comments I see Quranite already tried to explain this to you already but instead you want to argue and not go to the website he provided for you. You can never learn more with that type of attitude. You won`t give your mind a chance to grow by staying stuck in your own little world. And little do you know, while you look down on us their are others who look down on you and call your people sand niggers. We both have some of the same issues.
@FoziaAbdi Man, you must be really young...lol Our governments and schools are always making their country seem like it`s the only thing cookin....lol You have to stop letting the media, schools, and others influence your thinking. You were born with a brain and you are on the internet. You can find out any information you want. But if you choose to be narrow minded then that`s on you. You will never know the truth.
@FoziaAbdi And by the way, it is also my type of African who is in the forefront right now when you rarely see or hear about any Africans people at all. But we need to strive to do better as a whole or else our asses will be in a world of trouble. If you ask me, we are already in deep shit. All of us!!!! But if you want to keep things going in a negative direction then keep separating yourself. You will look around and you won`t have anyone who will have your back.
@FoziaAbdi And if you knew anything about genetics you would know that all, BLACK,Africans are related. But i`m cool where I live. We know who we are and we are learning more about our original homeland. But if you use certain termanology over here people will look at you like you are crazy...lol They won`t know who or what the hell you are talking about. And that`s why I use the term black. Meaning people with dark skin.
@FoziaAbdi ...a lot of things I know that you don`t have a clue about. You`re just another internet scholar who thinks he knows something but knows nothing at all. Fozio...lol
@FoziaAbdi You need to dig deeper into history and find out who the Bantu`s are. I understand the whole black thing but where i`m from that`s what we say and what distinguishes us from anyone else. I have no problem with the word black regardless of where it came from. I know i`m a descendant of west Africa. And if you want to be technical about it Africa isn`t the original name for that continent. So don`t try to laugh like that makes you smarter than anyone else because i`m sure there`s...
@redarrowhead2 yeah they came from israel! but there is a girl where i live that is black but she calls herself an arab palestinian so i don't know all i know is who i am i really don't give a damn about what everyone else is!
@redarrowhead2 no there are black middle easterns and palestinians. i have a friend who is palestinian and she looks "black". dont like the word black cause u can easily toss indian ppl into that category.
@massimo38 I am from Eritrea, its true arabic its the second language. But those people on the video are not Eritreans. We do look alike, but they are not eritreans. They are from Palestine. They have lived there for a long time. Just like the black people in many middle eastern countries. Etc, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Qatar, and so on.
Egyptians, Libya, Eritreans, Ethiopians, come from the same father... Ham Son of Noah!
I respect your opinion brother. But i disagree with you on that these people and where they from. First of all Somali people whould never move to Palestine, what are they going to do there? no jobs. But Eritreans and Ethiopians do move to Israel, for diffrent reasons. These people are Canaanites.
The bible describe them as dark skinned people). Orginal inhabitants of that land they lived among Assyrians, Hebrews, Palestinians, back in the acient times. Meanwhile the Assyrians moved away to diffrent parts of middleeast.
This "fabulous" video is almost TWENTY YEARS OLD. The FACTS are that Israel has saved THOUSANDS of Jewish, Christian and even muSlimes from certain death, at teh hands of isSlime.
The original Arabian peninsular population is not Saudi Bedouin nomads or modern Yemenites who migrated from the North into the region in ancient times. The indegenous Yemeni Negrito populations existed in the region long before Semitic migrations as well as the fact that the Arabian peninsular was inhabited by East Africans over 160 kya their presence is attested to by the Olduvai tool industry the indegenous Arabian population were Negrito,Australoid,Negroid,Capoid and Veddoid aboriginals.
@ArcheoxXx Wow! You really know your stuff...lol You are one of very few who has done their research. Keep correcting the people who are just going by what they see today and who have been taught the wrong history. There needs to be more people like you who have been well learned...Peace!!!
@FoziaAbdi And Original yemenites and Saudis are black. Check out the savethetruearabs website. I can send you quotes from lisanul-arab if you'd like that also prove this.
@amrjosef So where do you think the Arabs were before they were in the Arabian peninsula? They didn`t just grow out of the ground right there in those lands. All Dna can be traced back to Africa. The very early migration out of Africa were black African people who settled those lands first.
"modern so called Jews did not know about the Bete Israel and did not recognize them as Israel until 1973"
As I stated, there were documented but sporadic contacts between Beta Israel and other Jews since the Middle Ages. Due to their isolation, their status as Jews was unclear as they adopted many non-Jewish practices and lost their Hebrew language. In the 16th century the Egyptian rabbi David Abu Zimra ruled that they were Jews. The Israeli Chief Rabbinate confirmed this ruling in the 1970s.
@ShmorgelBorgel Who are they to decide rather sombody is jew-ISH or not?? technically theres no un-deniable proof that the zionist jew-ISH people are jews either....even in the time of jesus, there were other people living in israel who claimed to be jews but they really werent....
"the Hebrew Israelites are a AFRICAN people, which makes sense because"
Technically, according to modern anthropology, all of humanity originated in Africa. Nevertheless, our language, Hebrew, is a Semitic language--which only in a broader sense is part of the larger Afroasiatic family. Regardless, today's Israeli Jews, whether they are Mizrahi, Sephardi, Ashkenazi, or Beta Israel have a continuous link to this land, language and culture that you do not have.
Lets start with Nigerians, the Yoruba and the ebo don't get along. The Biafran war has created much confusion leaving the usual carnage of mixed philosophys of western , Islamic and animist traditions to be sought out. With this being said Nigerians have a international reputation as being materialistic, and will do anything for currency to live lavash decadent taste- less life styles. then you have The muslim fanatic some of them Yoruba and Hausa who are so backwards in philosophy, please.
There is no natural component to modern Eastern Mediterraneans their racial affinities are complex and their not all Dark haired Caucasians or Olive complexion there are fair skinned Blue eyed people in regions like Lebanon or Syria today some with blonde hair. Many different races of people have migrated through the Mediterranean from Black.Tan,White,Brown and Olive in complexion many have been absorbed over thousands of years others were exterminated.
These people fit within the generalized morphological and phenotypical traits of the early Levantine populations. According to anthropologist C. Loring Brace the Natufians had Sub Saharan ( Negroid) element. It's also recognized prehistoric West Eurasians tied closer to modern Sub Saharans than to the present Middle Eastern population that exists there today. The earliest Natufians were generally short of stature 5'4 with typically Sub Saharan morphology much like these Black Palestinians.
These people are not African immigrants they could be relics of the Natufians who once inhabited Isreal the progenitors of farming and the Neolithic revolution that spread across Anatolia and Europe. Isolated Black aboriginal populations exist all around the world some are recognized like the Negritos of Asia but many are classified and written off as " African slave " descendants to obscure their identities.
These African migrant Negroes are as ethnic Hebrew as Virtual Sheman doesn't have smegmisitis. The natuarl and historic racial component of the eastern Mediterranean
@BRUCEMAR100 You have to do more research. You can`t find out the right information if you are learning from someone who has their own agenda. I urge you to deal with truth because it doesn`t make sense to go through life thinking you are right about something and ignoring the true facts because you don`t agree. That`s the reason why there is so much confusion about this subject today. Certain people burned and destroyed all of the books and writings that would have told us exactly who was where
i cant stand african americans sometimes. stop trying to make a history for yourself and just embrace your own. dont bring your garbage thoughts about black women superiority and welfare programs to africa.
@PresidentOfTheBlack Such a DIABOLICAL ignorant statement. I could say that all Africans are very uneducated, lacking in critical thought, static, tribal war mongers, and deviant, and do not have a clue on how to be civilized. I have seen all of this in my travels to "AFRICA", but i want because im not a parochial fool to generalize and put all African in one group. I would go further to say i have seen more African Americans who are generous polite and care more about Africa than Africans.
@TheRoyaldiamond Speaking of Animist traditions, allot of them are mixed with colonial traditions, you find these patterns all over the continent. I hate to keep picking on Nigeria, examples of this would be the Ifa traditions which have mixed traditional philosophys with colonial ones, which add to the madness spawned by perdition and stupid ego. Im the last person you want to mess with when it comes to these matters. The few that I have come in contact like you, seem to be hypocrites/suspect.
@davisismail1comcast i just asked u a question i did'nt ask u for ur fist in your words, and yea that could be the possibility but i hope u know blacks travelled everywhere , they dont need to be mixed for them to be in a particular place but i guess what you said can be possible too.
I can run down a list of :co-dependancy,exploitation,deceit, betrayal, greed, you get the picture that comes from your own back yards. Let me explain the contempt i have for ignorance, see my wife is African American/Somali, so I understand the stupidy from both ends. The real problem that I have for "some" Africans is that they think no African Americans no anything about Africa and its own self destructive dark secrets, but there are plenty who are well educated on it's history
@PresidentOfTheBlack Brother, you shouldn`t look at African descendents who live in America that way.The result of slavery has done some very damaging things to us and we are starting to learn more about our African history. You can`t get upset with us for not knowing certain things because certain people had an evil agenda and never let us know the truth about our original home.I didn`t see any of our African people coming to the U.S. to save us or teach us about who we really are.So stop hating
@PresidentOfTheBlack The thing that`s so crazy about what you are saying is the fact that you let people come to your own land and confuse you. Now look at the majority of the African population. I would say that you need welfare more than anyone else on the planet. You should have learned from what happened to us and made sure it didn`t happen to you. If you are a black African you need to see what`s happening to us all over the world and try to correct what`s wrong. And what`s wrong....
@PresidentOfTheBlack ...and what`s wrong is we have way too many people like you who are gonna look real stupid when our numbers fall to very few. You might be one of very few dark skinned people who exist then you know what comes next. You will become a slave or murdered by others. You better smarten up and try to get as many of our people on the same page as you can. And stop putting labels on yourself. You are an African before someone told you different...Peace!!!
"Why were the Bete Israel not accepted as Israel until 1973? "
The Beta Israel lived in isolation from the rest of world Jewry and had only sporadic contacts with fellow Jews and their status vis a vis Jewish law was unclear. However, there were halakhic rulings on their Jewish status going back to the 15th century Egyptian rabbi the RadBaz (look it up). Beta Israel are integrating within Israeli society, they follow Judaism and a common Jewish national heritage, not your nonsense.
".if modern Bete Israel intermixed from other nations then why did they NOT isolate themselves from other nations"
Jews in Ethiopia Israel intermixed with an alien nation--the Ethiopian Christians, just as German Jews intermixed with an alien nation. Since Jewish religion and nationhood is not dependent on racial purity, this doesn't matter. What's important is that Jews in the Diaspora whether in Ethiopia, Germany, Yemen or Poland retained a sense of common heritage, faith and nationhood.
Genetic studies have indeed confirmed that various Diaspora Jewish groups have genetic similarities that point to a common origin in the Middle East. Ashkenazi Jews of Central and Eastern Europe share markers on the Y chromosome with the Jews whose families have lives in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Morocco and Yemen that the Ashkenazi Jews don't have in common with the non-Jewish populations in places like Poland or Germany. Arabs also often have these genetic markers.
Wow, yourself, who said Aramaic is Hebrew? The Book of Daniel is partly in Aramaic and Aramaic was a lingua franca at the time in the region. Nevertheless, the Persian and Aramaic languages are two distinct and separate languages belonging to two completely different language families. The Persian Empire conquered territories that belonged to the Babylonian Empire, where Aramaic was spoken--that does not make Persian language the same as Aramaic.
And modern Greek is not ancient Greek--your point being?
"it is Aramaic the language of the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, and Persians with a mixture of Yiddi which is an old German language. "
Modern Hebrew is most assuredly not Aramaic--a separate and distinct language, that is actually still spoken in parts of Syria and Iraq. Additionally, Aramaic,a Semitic tongue was not the language of the Persians, who speak an Indo-European tongue
"modern Jews are not from the tribe of Judah they like the so called Sephardi are Indo-Europeans"
Nobody is pure anything, but genetic studies confirm that modern Jewish populations, Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Mizrahi alike, share common ancestry traceable here to the Middle East. Naturally, after living in Europe more than a milllenia, Jews whose families were exiled to that continent mixedd with local populations. That does not erase the fact that Jews share a common heritage and national identity.
What you say is irrelevant. It is true that many Jews Israel migrated into Ethiopia or were exiled there and mixed to a certain extent with locals (just as Jews exiled into Europe intermingled with European populations). The Ethiopian Jews(Beita Yisrael) were mistreated by the Christians in that alien country, just as Jews were mistreated in Europe and in Arab lands. In recent decades most of that community has returned here to Israel where they were reunited with fellow Jews.
The ancient historians did not use reliable historical methodology, although there are links between ancient Abyssinia and Israel, and descendants of the Ethiopian Jews have returned home from exile in Ethiopia to rejoin their fellow Jews in their homeland of Israel
Jews have always lived in this land. Israeli Jews come in all colors, we all have roots in this land. We were very happy when Jews from Ethiopia, who were persecuted by the Ethiopian Christians, came back in large numbers to Israel.
Proof positive that Deutoronomy 28 has been fulfilled the proverb and the by word still follow you Israel - True Israel, as it is written I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Jacob I have loved but Essau I have hated.
@BIGfresh100 no, they are not... we werent even modern humans when we left africa... there were no blacks. or white.. they were upright apes.. nothing more...
now since most blacks still resemble upright apes today... i can understand how you might be confused...
@latnyid Homo Erectus were upright apes. Modern Humans left "Africa" around 60,000 years ago (however there is great debate that they might have left much earlier). So-called "white" ppl arrived after the last Ice Age out of France and Iberia (10,000-8,000 years ago). Neanderthals were already present, as well as, Deminova (mispelled :B) from Asia. Eventually the were overwhelmed by modern humans and went extinct.
@latnyid Yeah. pardon me but I'm not the one making pejorative statements about other ethnic groups. I know that there are a lot of Afronuts out there (I "spam" them also when they make stupid racist statements) but to call "black" people or group an ethnic groups as apes is uncalled for and is offensive. Anthropology and genetics are my fields of interest. Lately there have been a lot of revisions because there is a lot of misinformation out there and new data changes often.
@latnyid Someone lied to you son. Black people didn`t come from apes. And to prove this i`m gonna post a link to show you who really came from monkeys and apes. The evidence is still around today in white people. I`ve seen a hairless ape before and their skin is white underneath their hair. And an apes hair is nothing like black peoples hair. Our hair is very tightly curled. Show me one ape who`s hair is tightly curled. Their hair is more like white peoples hair if any.....
@saddat1965 ...Also, little does anyone know, some whites are born with tails like chimps. This is proven fact. And you see whites with hair all over their bodies like animals....LOL The jig is up white man. We know where you come from now. You can`t bring that black people come from apes shit anymore. In my next comment I will post a link proving to everyone who the real ape people are...lol You should have kept your fucking mouth shut but now the truth is coming out ape man...lol
@saddat1965 ... If you want to see who came from Apes then type Apes and humans- An interesting kinship revealed, in your youtube search bar. Now i`m going to expose you for the fraud you really are. You white people come on here with your make believe history and when we tell you about our history you pretend to know more about us than we do...lol I know more about your own history than you do. I can also show you images carved in rock walls in Europe of white men fucking sheep...lol....
@saddat1965 ...You wanted to go there so we are going there dude...lol You can`t come on here and make up some shit about my people and expect me to sit around and let you get away with it. I will expose you for who you really are. And all non Africans have Neanderthal DNA too. Your own scientist have made this information available for the world to see as well. As long as i`m alive i`m going to shut you frauds down as much as I can. And if you want to know the truth about whites told by ...
@saddat1965 ...their own people, type The time before white supremacy, parts 1,2,and 3. I`m just sick of you whites saying these lies about us black people on here. Now the truth shall be known. You people were no where in the picture until you came out of your caves in Europe. Black are responsible for you even having money today. Not from just the slave trade but before that. We introduced you to gold coins and you came back to West Africa like savages and killed and enslaved the vey people..
@saddat1965 who treated you with respect. And you are still the same way today. All you black people reading this need to check out those videos I wrote down in my comments. I warn you not to trust any of them. You never know what they will do. The reason why it`s important to learn your true black history is for 1, they have lied about all of it and 2, so we don`t repeat the same mistakes as in the past. Our ancestors were killed by them because we trusted them. And look what we got in return.
@saddat1965They are also sometimes born with horns coming out of their heads as well. These things are well documented if you do your research. They try to hide this information from us but thanks for the internet...lolThe horns growing out of the heads represents the devils that they are. They just use reverse psychology on us.They know there is no way that blacks are racist because first of all we never used the term before slavery. This is something they will always be. Peace to all my people!!!
@saddat1965 we all came from apes silly little man... you can try and claim otherwise. but science has already proven so...
no revisionist link or comment section spamming from you is going to change history... the difference between now and then is that the only one who still resemble apes are the last ones to leave africa... (and most of them are still there..)
@latnyid I`m not gonna stoop to name calling. but you are wrong. You are clearly behind in times...lol Darwin`s theory doesn`t hold water these days. With today's technology they have proven that theory wrong. You are just looking at it from a racist point of view. But the truth is, all non African people carry the Neanderthal gene. I guess you can consider Neanderthal an ape if you want to. They were very hairy creatures and most native Africans don`t have hair all over their body...lol...
@saddat1965 I don`t know where you are from but if you are not black then you are part Neanderthal. That`s not to put anyone down but to educate you on today`s new scientific discoveries. I was born in the U.S. so I have a little in me also. But not as much as you if you are not black at all.
Racist hmmm, because I claim the original inhabitants of north africa were black africans and that makes me racist. Dude you need to get your facts in order instead of using insults for arguments. Your socalled negros were the first people to inhabit north africa, it is a proven fact not fiction. Only delusional white berbers like yourself and samysamy believe your lies.
@MrLetsgotrojans its not just the states in the Caribbean its the same thing, something has corrupted their minds, not all of them but too many of them.
They are not native but legacy of bantu slave trade. You see many bantu/negro in Paris London and Amsterdam, u telling me those native? lol! Negro also found in Iraq, Arabia, Egypt, does not mean they are native.
@Gonzoidz White arabs and white berbers are found in africa, does that make them native nope they are forigners. Arabs and whites are forign to egypt and north africa, blacks are the only natives of africa.
They are native you dumb black fool. You go to Libya, Algeria, Egypt and tell these people they are not native to their land. See how long you keep negro nose! Arrogant fool!
@Gonzoidz Black fool, negro nose, thats your argument. All you have is racist insults because you cannot argue my claims. Arabs and berbers are not native to africa and never will.
That's all they are - your DUMB racist claim. One thing for sure, there were no negro's in North Africa is pre neolithic times. We are the first inhabitors of these lands. Now put that in your pipe and go fck yourself, pig!
@Gonzoidz Before the Bantu slave trade there were and still are Native/ indiginous Africans in North Africa, are u crazy? U act like there were only one tribe (BANTU) in Africa. There are hundreds if not thousands of Black North African tribes from Libya,Egypt,Mali,Morocco and Algeria that predate any African slave trade. Arabs and Whites are forign to all of africa from the North to the South.
@Gonzoidz so what if your berber they are still black skinned people maybe not of africa but somewhere down the line don't fool yourself it is what it is and why blacks of america got to be nigga nigga lmao you are what you speak whats is in a man's heart so he is
@SHAQUMSHA that is bullshit, while arabs and whites may have been foreign... most north Africans were not black at all.. they shared alot of common ancestry with alot of people in the Mediterranean.
@latnyid The term "black" is a social political term. The earliest tribe of the Sahara were the Bafour who were replaced by the Amazigh. The Amazigh Berbers originated in East Africa like most of humanity. Some Berbers left to the Levant then came back but have been in North Africa since antiquity. So called "white" ppl have been around for 8-10k and originated from Central Asia to France. Romans. Vandals, and Turks left their genetic mark on N. Africa .Berber are not "white" or "black".
@osiruskat I know what the berbers are and are not.. my ancestry goes back thousands of years... long before the romans, vandal and turks invaded... they were never black or white.. they were berbers.. no more related to black africans than whites were.. and this if fact.
@latnyid Funny you just repeated my own comment. DNA evidence on the Y Haplogroup shows evidence of an East African origin of the Amazigh (89-99%) like the Somali (90%+), Dinkas, Oromo, Kenyans and other East Africans. I don't use terms like "black" or "white" because that is a western social identity. In American terms the Amazigh reminds me of Creole ppl of Louisiana U.S.A. a mix of various ethnic groups but one identity. I also have Eb3 haplogroup in my DNA.
@osiruskat more revisionist Afrocentric nonsense... north Africans have more in common genetically and racially with other people of the meditearanen and the middle east than black Africans.. this is just a fact of life and history...
this is the same nonsense blacks try to pull when trying to claim the history of the ancient egyptians.. who were in no way black..
@latnyid Hahaha. You guys are SOO huge up on skin color it's ridiculous. How many times do I have to say that the term "black" is a social political concept. Was North Africa part of the Roman empire or not? Did the Vandals occupy the Magreb or not? There is nothing Afrocentric I'm saying. "Berbers" are African are they not? The Y DNA originated in East Africa and some mutated just outside the land called "Africa".
Look a bit deeper and you'll know that North Africa originally had a tropical climate. Some people migrated south as the climate changed to a desert. Tell me my friend what are the genetics of Mediterranean people? Just like the Asian pop. don't look a like, not all African ppl look alike. Amazigh ppl are definitely Afro Asian just like Ethiopians, Somali, and most other Horners and Hausa ppl. Eb3 is diff. from E1b1a but from the same family of origin.
Bushmen are genetically different from most West Africans, does that make them less African? All humans are related. If you follow the Y DNA, you can see the progress from OOA theory of how man migrated back and forth from the land termed "Africa" to Western Asia mutating more to Central Asia and repopulating. The very African looking Andaman Island and Papua New Guinea ppl look like "black" ppl but are more akin to Asians.
@Gonzoidz Well, in almost every place on the planet earth, the oldest modern human remains and also the oldest wall drawings and relics are that of African people. All Dna can be traced back to Africa. And those lands are connected directly to Africa. Some of the first black African people to leave the land we know today as Africa, migrated right there in those lands. So not only are we native to that land, we are the first to settle and dwell in those lands. This information is very easy find.
(2)@Borgel. There are 3 basic racial categories of people through-out the world that originally emulated or came about through the loins of the 3 son's of Noah..Jephteh, Ham and Shem.I guess you don't agree with this do you not?Sorry to say, even though it may give you a lot of pain, it is written in the first book of Moses in the Holy Torah that this is the basic division of mankind.
"there are 3 basic racial categories of people through.....Jephet, Ham and Shem.I guess you don't agree with this do you not?"
No, I don't, I thought I made that clear. :-)
"Sorry to say, even though it may give you a lot of pain, it is written in the first book of Moses in the Holy Torah that this is the basic division of mankind."
It doesn't give me pain, for me the Torah was written by men who were trying to make sense of the world and they didn't have the knowledge humans have now.
You have to wonder: if the Sephardic Jews have a darker skin tone than the Ashkenazis, and they are at the bottom of the list when it comes to privileges in Israel (the Ashkenazis at the top), maybe the Sephardics are the true Jews and maybe the real Palestinians and/or Canaanites were like these young people.
1. Sephardic Jews don't necessarily have a darker skin tone than Ashkenazim, and 2 it's not true that Ashkenazim are "at the top" and non-Ashkenazi Jews at the bottom. It WAS true in Israel especially in the 1950s through the 1970s that new Sephardic/Mizrahi immigrants from countries like Morocco had lower socioeconomic status in general. (Sephardic people who had been here longer were part of the ruling class.) But things have changed a lot in Israel especially since 1977.
You're also overlooking that Ashkenazim/Sephardim/Mizrahim all marry with each other. In my family, my grandmother was Sephardic (Syrian-Jewish on her father's side, on her mother's side her family had been in Jerusalem for ages--guess what she was lighter skinned than her husband, my grandfather, whose family was Ashkenazi from Russia!). My fiancee is Tunisian (Sephardic), my sister's husband's family is from Yemen. One of my cousins married a half-German, half-Iraqi Jew, the other an Ethiopian
(2)PEOPLE the son's of Jepheth were a seafaring people whom after the flood ventured westward n settled those lands n spawned those people whorm are indigneous of Europe.Gen 10 (2-5).
@lestmbly (3)Likewise so did Noah's tow other son's, Ham whose lineage brought about the people of dark Africa and Shem who brought forth the brown/yellow races of Asia
@lestmbly (4)This is the basic division of how all races came to be and the lands in which they settled.Don't take my analysis as one who is obsessed with the subject of race...Just stating Biblical fact
PEOPLE when discussing subjects as complex as geneology and "racial lineage" in how they came to be, I tend to first approach the subject from a Biblical perspective and then afterwards from a scienctific and historical viewpoint...On the subject of the Ashkenaz one must first ask who are they and where did they come from..The Ashkenaz are the descendents of Jepheth who is the son of Noah. All races in mankind are are from the loins of Noah..
" I tend to first approach the subject from a Biblical perspective and then afterwards from a scienctific and historical viewpoint..."
Then by your own admission you are basing things on faith, but not fact. I am a Jew who is secular in outlook, with a great respect for my traditions who regards the Torah as the national historical epic of my people but not as a divine document or an infallible source of history or anthropology.
"On the subject of the Ashkenaz one must first ask who are they and where did they come from..The Ashkenaz are the descendents of Jepheth who is the son of Noah."
Since you define yourself as a Biblical literalist, I won't argue with you about the veracity of the Torah's history of mankind. However, the Ashkenazi Jews, who emerged into existence in medieval Europe have nothing to do with the "Ashkenaz" of in the Torah, other than the fact that they used the same Biblical place name.
Likewise, there is a place named "Sepharad" mentioned in the Bible as well, nobody is sure where it would be on the map today, but it's though to be in modern-day Turkey. Later, when Jews, moved to the Iberian peninsula (Spain), they called that land "Sepharad"--maybe because the sound was similar to "Espana": ESPanya-->SEPHarad. Ashkenaz was also a Biblical place name and the name of a Bibloical personality that Jews later applied to the place where they were living in Europe.
@ShmorgelBorgel (1)Oh man open a window and take a deep breath..I swear u need to come up for some air.Yes I proudly admit and make no excuses that I do look at issues such as this first from a Bibliographical perspective. Why u might ask? Because God is the creator of all things and all THOUGHT processes even your's which you will probably deny. U as a Jew should know this and I don't care how secular u claim to be.. A few questions. Do you believe that all man kind are of the seed of Noah?
I explained to you, if you are going to insist on Biblical literacy and infallibility, then I can't argue with you because it's a matter of faith for you while for me as a SECULAR agnostic Jew, the Torah contains some truth mixed in with myth and poetry. But like I said, EVEN if you do accept Scriptures as infallible, the Biblical Ashkenaz and Sepharad is different from the Ashkenazi Jews who lived in medieval Germany or Sephardi Jews in medieval Spain.
@ShmorgelBorgel I think a lot of what you're saying is a cop-out..You tend to describe yourself in many various ways. You call yourself secular, then go even further and call yourself an agnostic but yet you don't seem to totally reject God cause you admit a need to attend synagogue from time to time. Not only just any synagogue but one of orthodox persuasion. You're torn. And then you say the Tenauch is a mixture of truths, myths n poetry..let me ask u, what TRUTHS do you see in the Tenauch?
"You call yourself secular, then go even further and call yourself an agnostic but yet you don't seem to totally reject God"
No, I'm an agnostic, not an atheist--that means I am open to the existence of God and I hope there is one! But I feel if there is a God, he/she/it wasn't revealed to mankind in the Torah. :-)
Yes, I occasionally attend Orthodox synagogues for various reasons-- I was raised in an Orthodox family, so I am most comfortable in an Orthodox setting,. there are very few non-Orthodox synagogues in Israel anyway and where I live they are hard to get to, I enjoy the traditional tunes, etc...anyway, most of the time I don't go to synagogue, but I usually go on all the major holidays and sometimes on Shabbat. It's about community for me and tradition and heritage--but not God so much
There are universal truths and moral guidelines that I derive from the Tanakh like treating a worker justly, here are other things in it that I don't accept. In terms of tangible facts in the Tanakh, there are some that have been independently confirmed by archaeology, extrabibiblical sources, etc. So if someone says--there was no ancient kingdom of Israel--the Bible is all a fairytale, you can say, no, archaeology confirms there was an ancient Israel
So, you can point to the Merneptah Stele or Tel Dan Stele as evidence of the ancient kingdoms of Israel and that they mention the House of David, etc...also there is evidence that certain events described in the Tanakh such as the Babylonian Captivity actually happened--but many other things in the Tanakh, the actual existence of Garden of Eden, the Flood, of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the dividing the Red Sea, it's all based on faith, which I don't have! No disrespect meant o you.
@ShmorgelBorgel Lets put aside some of the great "physical miracles" of God, like the splitting of the Sea n the 10 plagues of Egypt and so forth(which I do believe)and let me ask u. Do u believe that the Hebrews were once enslaved in Egypt?Do u believe in the Exodus? Do u believe that Israel is God's Promised Land to the Hebrew people?Do u believe that the Torah/Tenauch are the inspired words of God through the mouths of the Prophets?Or is this to also all myth?
@lestmbly (2) remember there is no concrete evidence of the 4 questions I've asked of u other then God's word and what is written in the Torah/Tenauch/Bible...I believe that deep down in your heart even though you won't admit it that you are not agnostic..I can understand you being secular, but you know that there is ONE TRUE GOD..U have too much self-pride.U are as God described..stiff-neck'd and too stubborn for your own good. Some of us learn faster then others and u are far from being stupid
But it's like I say, you either have faith or you don't. You do, and I don't mock you for it.
Being Jewish is important to me, because it's my heritage, it's my culture, it's my people, but it's not my faith--because I don't have any. I respect all sincere good-hearted people of faith whether they are my fellow Jews , or Muslims, Christians, Druze, Bahais, Hindus or whatever. I'll try to take the rest of what you said as a compliment!
@lestmbly You asked: "Do u believe that the Hebrews were once enslaved in Egypt?" I'm curious as to why it matters to you what I believe or don't believe so much --never mind that I like talking about myself :-))) but like I said, I believe *SOME* of the things described in the TaNaKH are *SOMEWHAT* historically true. I'm not a Biblical historian, but there is some evidence that says that the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, other modern scholars doubt it. Who knows?
@ShmorgelBorgel Listen I don't mean to offend but this whole conversation is about what we believe, is it not? I think you answering these 4 question would help me better in understanding what you believe. I just want to know the extant of the truths that you may or may not believe, that you say are "sometimes" in the Bible..If you feel as though I'm jumping all over you then don't answer..I'll catch you Later..Shalom
Dude, no offense taken--like I said, I like talking about myself (too much!) Just curious why you are asking so many questions, but we also are off topic of the channel and monopolizing the board and pissing people off.
Also it's like 4:30 am here in Israel--luckily I don't have to be at work until 1 pm tomorrow but I still need to get some sleep!
"Do u believe that Israel is God's Promised Land to the Hebrew people?"
I said I'm agnostic about the existence of God, so why are you asking me if I believe God promised it to the Hebrew people? I personally believe that Jews have a long historical attachment to this land and it is central to our identity--both religious and national--our tradition teaches us it was "promised" to us by God--well, a lot of tribes have myths about their territories--we're no different. Promised or not, it's ours
@ShmorgelBorg (2)remember there is no concrete evidence of the 4 questions I've asked of u other then God's word and what is written in the Torah/Tenauch/Bible..I believe that deep down in your heart even though you won't admit it that you are not agnostic..I can understand u being secular, but u know that there is ONE TRUE GOD.. U have too much self-pride. U are as God described....stiff-neck'd n too stubborn for your own good. Some of us learn faster then others and u are far from being stupid.
"A few questions. Do you believe that all man kind are of the seed of Noah? "
Like I said, for me the Torah is a mix of myth, allegory and poetry with some nuggets of fact thrown in--so no, for me, I don't believe literally in the story of Noah and the Ark. I can't accept that the earth is only 5770 years old that the universe was literally created in 6 days either.

Meaning people with dark skin.

Natufian77 1 year ago
These people are not African immigrants they could be relics of the Natufians who once inhabited Isreal the progenitors of farming and the Neolithic revolution that spread across Anatolia and Europe. Isolated Black aboriginal populations exist all around the world some are recognized like the Negritos of Asia but many are classified and written off as " African slave " descendants to obscure their identities.

ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
".if modern Bete Israel intermixed from other nations then why did they NOT isolate themselves from other nations"
Jews in Ethiopia Israel intermixed with an alien nation--the Ethiopian Christians, just as German Jews intermixed with an alien nation. Since Jewish religion and nationhood is not dependent on racial purity, this doesn't matter. What's important is that Jews in the Diaspora whether in Ethiopia, Germany, Yemen or Poland retained a sense of common heritage, faith and nationhood.
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
@dnorwood07
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
"Persians spoke Aramaic which is NOT HEBREW!"
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
"Modern Hebrew is not ancient Hebrew, "
And modern Greek is not ancient Greek--your point being?
"it is Aramaic the language of the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, and Persians with a mixture of Yiddi which is an old German language. "
Modern Hebrew is most assuredly not Aramaic--a separate and distinct language, that is actually still spoken in parts of Syria and Iraq. Additionally, Aramaic,a Semitic tongue was not the language of the Persians, who speak an Indo-European tongue
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
"modern Jews are not from the tribe of Judah they like the so called Sephardi are Indo-Europeans"
Nobody is pure anything, but genetic studies confirm that modern Jewish populations, Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Mizrahi alike, share common ancestry traceable here to the Middle East. Naturally, after living in Europe more than a milllenia, Jews whose families were exiled to that continent mixedd with local populations. That does not erase the fact that Jews share a common heritage and national identity.
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
What you say is irrelevant. It is true that many Jews Israel migrated into Ethiopia or were exiled there and mixed to a certain extent with locals (just as Jews exiled into Europe intermingled with European populations). The Ethiopian Jews(Beita Yisrael) were mistreated by the Christians in that alien country, just as Jews were mistreated in Europe and in Arab lands. In recent decades most of that community has returned here to Israel where they were reunited with fellow Jews.
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
The ancient historians did not use reliable historical methodology, although there are links between ancient Abyssinia and Israel, and descendants of the Ethiopian Jews have returned home from exile in Ethiopia to rejoin their fellow Jews in their homeland of Israel
Jews have always lived in this land. Israeli Jews come in all colors, we all have roots in this land. We were very happy when Jews from Ethiopia, who were persecuted by the Ethiopian Christians, came back in large numbers to Israel.

@latnyid Homo Erectus were upright apes. Modern Humans left "Africa" around 60,000 years ago (however there is great debate that they might have left much earlier). So-called "white" ppl arrived after the last Ice Age out of France and Iberia (10,000-8,000 years ago). Neanderthals were already present, as well as, Deminova (mispelled :B) from Asia. osiruskat 6 months ago
Their hair is more like white peoples hair if any.....
saddat1965 6 months ago

We introduced you to gold coins and you came back to West Africa like savages and killed and enslaved the vey people..
saddat1965 6 months ago
@saddat1965 who treated you with respect. And you are still the same way today. All you black people reading this need to check out those videos I wrote down in my comments. I warn you not to trust any of them. You never know what they will do. The reason why it`s important to learn your true black history is for 1, they have lied about all of it and 2, so we don`t repeat the same mistakes as in the past. Our ancestors were killed by them because we trusted them. And look what we got in return.
saddat1965 6 months ago
@saddat1965They are also sometimes born with horns coming out of their heads as well. These things are well documented if you do your research. They try to hide this information from us but thanks for the internet...lolThe horns growing out of the heads represents the devils that they are. They just use reverse psychology on us.They know there is no way that blacks are racist because first of all we never used the term before slavery. This is something they will always be. Peace to all my people!!!
saddat1965 6 months ago
@saddat1965 we all came from apes silly little man... you can try and claim otherwise. but science has already proven so...
no revisionist link or comment section spamming from you is going to change history... the difference between now and then is that the only one who still resemble apes are the last ones to leave africa... (and most of them are still there..)
latnyid 6 months ago
@latnyid I`m not gonna stoop to name calling. but you are wrong. You are clearly behind in times...lol Darwin`s theory doesn`t hold water these days. With today's technology they have proven that theory wrong. You are just looking at it from a racist point of view. But the truth is, all non African people carry the Neanderthal gene. I guess you can consider Neanderthal an ape if you want to. They were very hairy creatures and most native Africans don`t have hair all over their body...lol...
saddat1965 6 months ago
@saddat1965 I don`t know where you are from but if you are not black then you are part Neanderthal. That`s not to put anyone down but to educate you on today`s new scientific discoveries. I was born in the U.S. so I have a little in me also. But not as much as you if you are not black at all.

@SHAQUMSHA that is bullshit, while arabs and whites may have been foreign... most north Africans were not black at all.. they shared alot of common ancestry with alot of people in the Mediterranean.
latnyid 9 months ago
@latnyid The term "black" is a social political term. The earliest tribe of the Sahara were the Bafour who were replaced by the Amazigh. The Amazigh Berbers originated in East Africa like most of humanity. Some Berbers left to the Levant then came back but have been in North Africa since antiquity. So called "white" ppl have been around for 8-10k and originated from Central Asia to France. Romans. Vandals, and Turks left their genetic mark on N. Africa .Berber are not "white" or "black".
osiruskat 6 months ago
@osiruskat I know what the berbers are and are not.. my ancestry goes back thousands of years... long before the romans, vandal and turks invaded... they were never black or white.. they were berbers.. no more related to black africans than whites were.. and this if fact.
latnyid 6 months ago
@latnyid Funny you just repeated my own comment. DNA evidence on the Y Haplogroup shows evidence of an East African origin of the Amazigh (89-99%) like the Somali (90%+), Dinkas, Oromo, Kenyans and other East Africans. I don't use terms like "black" or "white" because that is a western social identity. In American terms the Amazigh reminds me of Creole ppl of Louisiana U.S.A. a mix of various ethnic groups but one identity. I also have Eb3 haplogroup in my DNA.
osiruskat 6 months ago
@osiruskat more revisionist Afrocentric nonsense... north Africans have more in common genetically and racially with other people of the meditearanen and the middle east than black Africans.. this is just a fact of life and history...
this is the same nonsense blacks try to pull when trying to claim the history of the ancient egyptians.. who were in no way black..
it would be comical if it werent so pathetic.
latnyid 6 months ago
@latnyid Hahaha. You guys are SOO huge up on skin color it's ridiculous. How many times do I have to say that the term "black" is a social political concept. Was North Africa part of the Roman empire or not? Did the Vandals occupy the Magreb or not? There is nothing Afrocentric I'm saying. "Berbers" are African are they not? The Y DNA originated in East Africa and some mutated just outside the land called "Africa".
osiruskat 6 months ago
Look a bit deeper and you'll know that North Africa originally had a tropical climate. Some people migrated south as the climate changed to a desert. Tell me my friend what are the genetics of Mediterranean people? Just like the Asian pop. don't look a like, not all African ppl look alike. Amazigh ppl are definitely Afro Asian just like Ethiopians, Somali, and most other Horners and Hausa ppl. Eb3 is diff. from E1b1a but from the same family of origin.
osiruskat 6 months ago
Bushmen are genetically different from most West Africans, does that make them less African? All humans are related. If you follow the Y DNA, you can see the progress from OOA theory of how man migrated back and forth from the land termed "Africa" to Western Asia mutating more to Central Asia and repopulating. The very African looking Andaman Island and Papua New Guinea ppl look like "black" ppl but are more akin to Asians.
osiruskat 6 months ago
@Gonzoidz Well, in almost every place on the planet earth, the oldest modern human remains and also the oldest wall drawings and relics are that of African people. All Dna can be traced back to Africa. And those lands are connected directly to Africa. Some of the first black African people to leave the land we know today as Africa, migrated right there in those lands. So not only are we native to that land, we are the first to settle and dwell in those lands. This information is very easy find.
saddat1965 6 months ago

In my land blacks are not seen as native, they are seen as thief and unreliable. This true all over Arab and Imazighen world.

You have to wonder: if the Sephardic Jews have a darker skin tone than the Ashkenazis, and they are at the bottom of the list when it comes to privileges in Israel (the Ashkenazis at the top), maybe the Sephardics are the true Jews and maybe the real Palestinians and/or Canaanites were like these young people.
xander7ful 1 year ago
@xander7ful
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
You're also overlooking that Ashkenazim/Sephardim/Mizrahim all marry with each other. In my family, my grandmother was Sephardic (Syrian-Jewish on her father's side, on her mother's side her family had been in Jerusalem for ages--guess what she was lighter skinned than her husband, my grandfather, whose family was Ashkenazi from Russia!). My fiancee is Tunisian (Sephardic), my sister's husband's family is from Yemen. One of my cousins married a half-German, half-Iraqi Jew, the other an Ethiopian

@lestmbly
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
"On the subject of the Ashkenaz one must first ask who are they and where did they come from..The Ashkenaz are the descendents of Jepheth who is the son of Noah."
Since you define yourself as a Biblical literalist, I won't argue with you about the veracity of the Torah's history of mankind. However, the Ashkenazi Jews, who emerged into existence in medieval Europe have nothing to do with the "Ashkenaz" of in the Torah, other than the fact that they used the same Biblical place name.
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago

A few questions. Do you believe that all man kind are of the seed of Noah?
lestmbly 1 year ago
@lestmbly

And then you say the Tenauch is a mixture of truths, myths n poetry..let me ask u, what TRUTHS do you see in the Tenauch?
lestmbly 1 year ago
@lestmbly
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
Yes, I occasionally attend Orthodox synagogues for various reasons-- I was raised in an Orthodox family, so I am most comfortable in an Orthodox setting,. there are very few non-Orthodox synagogues in Israel anyway and where I live they are hard to get to, I enjoy the traditional tunes, etc...anyway, most of the time I don't go to synagogue, but I usually go on all the major holidays and sometimes on Shabbat. It's about community for me and tradition and heritage--but not God so much
:-)
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
"what TRUTHS do you see in the Tenauch?"
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
So, you can point to the Merneptah Stele or Tel Dan Stele as evidence of the ancient kingdoms of Israel and that they mention the House of David, etc...also there is evidence that certain events described in the Tanakh such as the Babylonian Captivity actually happened--but many other things in the Tanakh, the actual existence of Garden of Eden, the Flood, of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the dividing the Red Sea, it's all based on faith, which I don't have! No disrespect meant o you.
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago

Who knows?
ShmorgelBorgel 1 year ago
@ShmorgelBorgel Listen I don't mean to offend but this whole conversation is about what we believe, is it not? I think you answering these 4 question would help me better in understanding what you believe.
