I like this song, but too bad that it didn't get the place it deserved. That year eurovision contest was in Serbia (i am from Serbia), and that year i heard the best songs of all eurovisions ever.

This was a good performance and a very nice song. I don't understand why they didn't go through the finals. Compare with the winner of that year. Eurovision 2008 Greece - Kalomoira - Secret Combination. Come on.

If there was a dutch song what should have reached the finals of eurovision than it was this one, it's really good. The Toppers that compete this year was the worst entry ever from Holland.

@leoyvi : I agree 100% with you, The Toppers were bad and I thought it could not get worse, but it can, because Ik ben verliefd (sha-la-lie) is the worst entry ever from Holland. Even the worst entry ever in Eurovision. The dutch need to be ashamed to send an entry like this to eurovision with a country that has got so great and fantastic music scene. But is has all got to do with the broadcaster TROS, nationalistic right-wing mind.

There was one guy who decided in a very stupid way (heads or tails) to choose that song (sha-la-lie).

Sad, but nothing to do about it. I can only hope our next entry is better :)

For the last 3 years the netherlands send good songs but the other country's vote for there neighbour country's. And the Netherlands have only belgium and Germany and german is a finalist and belgium often sing in an another semi-final.
