LOL I thought i was terrible at this game but, when he said 16-2 is a good score for an average player i noticed that i usually go 28-4 (thats my average) so that is pretty insane for me.
The average assault rifle can't penetrate thick metal plates in a couple shots. Aim for the head or the exposed pink areas on the back and you'll find it only takes about 1/6 or 1/5 of a clip per kill, on normal difficulty.
This game is not hard to get into if you play single player before multiplayer. It eases you into the nanosuit pretty easily at first before throwing a steady but steep difficulty curve at you. I beat the campaign before I went online, and when I entered the recruit servers I was raping left an right, only losing 2 free for all games before leaving the recruit servers. If you jump head first into multiplayer when you get the game, prepare to get thrown into a wall.
just played this game at a friends this afternoon. it. is. amazing. best FPS since MW2 in my opinion (i'm not such a fan of BO). My biggest problem with all FPS that aren't smooth enough with the movement, for example Battlefield. Yes, BF may be more realistic that COD but thats not always what I want. Crysis just matches a perfect movement in between COD and BF. plus with the armor and stealth aspects of this makes it a breath of fresh air for me. highly reccomendable!
Cons: Limited weapon selection, while there aren't a ton of weapons to choose from, each weapon fills a bit of a niche within it's own class and as most games now, offer a bit of customization, although even the attachments can be limiting. It can be difficult to track down enemies when everyone is running around cloaked and you find yourself running out of energy without a kill. There are a few moments where you know you should have gotten the kill only to be beaten down up close. Big curve.
Pros: Hyper intense gameplay, may be a bit faster paced then you are used to.
Interesting and varied class set ups. There are a ton of modules or "perks" to try out and upgrade, each one start out with its base trait but after using it for awhile you can upgrade it to unlock the next trait, so the suit you can ultimately design can be very unique to you. The exp curve, while steep is very rewarding. Each rank up feels very well earned and often comes with a couple bonuses here and there.

Everyone camps with their stealth nanosuit, the guys who don't use that get killed. the perks are useless. only 12 guns (wtf?! I think battlefield and cod have more assault rifles in their game than that). I have a 1.5 k/d, so I'm not total noob, but I just don't like this game... And I'm afraid a lot of ppl don't.

Anyone who hates this game hasn't given it the time it deserves. It has a learning curve, yes, but with practice it opens up. Those who can't hack it go play with toys, or failing that, Call of Duty!
Crysis clicked for me the other day, too. I've had roughly a 4.0 KD the past three days after getting off to a rough start (I think I had a 1.15 after a week). For anyine who is interested in this game, it's amazing if you just put the time into learning it. It's not a game you can judge fairly after an evening of online play. Learn the guns, learn the suit and have a damn good time. I'm glad Hutch is on board because somebody needs to spread the news about Crysis.

I do it like hutch where when I'm alone I'm in stealth and when I see some one I go to max armor. I hardly ever find people in max armor. I think that's why there are so many noobs.
I haven't played this game, so there is no actual merit to my opinion, but this game looks dumb as shit. I mean, the map looks cool, but the game looks like some lame ass Predator movie.
For all of you stupid fuckers, you have to be smart to play this game... it's not like in black ops where you can just predict where the opposing team is coming from, spawn points are placed randomly across the map. In other words, you can't just run to a certain spot and not worry about getting shot in the back.
This game will seriously test your true play style.

Played the multiplayer demo of this game and, aside from the slight lag and one hit kill melee (which has been fixed), I freakin loved it! Its one of those really rare games where even when you're doing really badly you can still enjoy because it is so satisfying. Its like an awesome cross between Battlefield Bad Company and Halo Reach, but with stunning graphics to match!
really liking the layout for the crysis 2 videos with the clip in the beginning before your commentary. stick with doing what you want, cods getting really boring
Hutch I think you should do a tips video, and break down some of your gameplay. I can do alright, but I seem to be having a problem when I go from cloak to armor it doesn't register right away, and I lose all my energy when I start shooting.

This game isnt that good a bit imbalanced there arent many good shooters these days cause the HALO and COD series have just been done to death now they are ust plane boring and this games is just really average

Hutch you may not know this but the MTG comms. are god awful they have no charisma. So if you could do some that would be great. Even if you really don't know what you are talking about I'm sure people would give you "constructive " criticism.

I do it like hutch where when I'm alone I'm in stealth and when I see some one I go to max armor. I hardly ever find people in max armor. I think that's why there are so many noobs.

I never use invisibility. I use armour alot and I'm awesome at this game. Seriously, I'd probably whip all of you lot put together!!
It does take time for it to click into place but when it does........I own!!!

I haven't played this game, so there is no actual merit to my opinion, but this game looks dumb as shit. I mean, the map looks cool, but the game looks like some lame ass Predator movie.

For all of you stupid fuckers, you have to be smart to play this game... it's not like in black ops where you can just predict where the opposing team is coming from, spawn points are placed randomly across the map. In other words, you can't just run to a certain spot and not worry about getting shot in the back.
This game will seriously test your true play style.

Played the multiplayer demo of this game and, aside from the slight lag and one hit kill melee (which has been fixed), I freakin loved it! Its one of those really rare games where even when you're doing really badly you can still enjoy because it is so satisfying. Its like an awesome cross between Battlefield Bad Company and Halo Reach, but with stunning graphics to match!

Hutch I think you should do a tips video, and break down some of your gameplay. I can do alright, but I seem to be having a problem when I go from cloak to armor it doesn't register right away, and I lose all my energy when I start shooting.
