  • @AwwwMuffinz : it is really painfull.. i know what you talking about..

I have costocondritis for about 3-4 years..

it started with a sharp pain on my sternum.

it did so much pain! because I did not know the pain it seemed like I had a heart attack..

but the doctors said it was chostchondritis and no heart attack.

Sometimes I have a long time no pain. but when I sneeze, cough or move wrong. Then it comes back again..

But thank you for this informative video i like it ! ;)

  • i wouldnt suggest..some of the pills you are suggesting..morphen..fentenal..opiates...those are serious drugs for somthing not so serious... they can be addicting and take your life plus ruin your liver. great information on costochrondritis and its symtoms but the best advice you gave for pain relife was the ICE PACK.. if nothing serious can come of this disease (which i believe i have) then there is no need for serious drugs..some of those can really ruin your life..

  • @COOLCRACKAH I don't think I mentioned taking those higher class drugs, I believe I specifically said NSAIDS work perfectly the best for this pain.

  • I have costocondritis for about 3 years and the pain doesnt leave me for a single day. It appeared when I was doing a chest workout at the gym with heavy weights on it and I felt my chest "shriking" and a pressure on it. I use to crack it a lot, it feels kinda better and I do some streching too and breathing techniques but still It doesnt go away. I took some heavy medications, still nothing. It feels worst when I wake up in the morning. And it hurts right in the middle of the sternum.

  • I have it on my right side of my chest!! and it sucks.... =(

  • thank you very mutch for this vid. I real thought I was getting angina or heart attack. I was at the hospital today for emergency and when the doctor told me It was simply my muscle, I said to my self * that is the most incompetent doc I have ever seen * but he was right.

  • ur awesome dude!!! I saw a couple of videos on this costocrap desease. & let me tell u. you pretty much nailed it!!! I feel the symptoms exactly were u described them, near my heart n' stuff and not only were u right on , but i also enjoyed!! the way u explained it and eased the worry..thank u very much for making this video!..maybe u should become a doctor or something. bcuse u have the gift of calming people down & not worrying themselves, like me . i'm more relaxed after watching ur video.

  • @ellitestar thanks!

  • You are an interesting individual.... I don't mean that in a bad way. That is, however, the thought that came to me after watching a few of your other videos. I suffer from Costochondritis myself and found this video searching for it. Your absolutely right about it spreading or getting worse once you think about it too much. Never thought of it that way.

  • Your video actually made me laugh. I just found out I had this problem last night. I was confused for a minute, but I think i got the whole idea of the picture now. The crazy thing is i have a heart murmur and thought that was the cause of the pain and chest tightness, found out its costocondritis -__-

  • @MzzSophistocated Why laugh? :P

  • @AwwwMuffinz because the way you were sayin and explain certain things it makes the situation not seem so bad and lighten up moods

  • @MzzSophistocated THat's what I try to do (:

  • @MzzSophistocated because im funny :)

  • Never going to hurt you? Do you know about chronic costochondritis? Never goes away, horrible pain for years if not the rest of your life. Imagine never being able to do pushups again and none of the physicians know what to say about it. I recommend you take this video down and edit this part out, an otherwise helpful video.

  • @theyeti85 You can't do those things because the body Yells NO, This Hurts, BAD!, But you can do It. You move your arm just fine don't you? Pick items up, talk, ect, Nothing here Inhibits your mobility, except your own will to deal with It.

  • This condition causes no damage to the body.

  • @AwwwMuffinz I like how this guy came back to defend himself against what I said. I'm right, He's just being a pus.

  • @AwwwMuffinz Would you please take time out of your day to send me a message of treatments that help your costochondritis? I have had it for over a year now and it has destroyed my life. I would appreciate if you can send me some helpful advice. thank you

  • @lilnicky47 I have a page on this on my website :) Ill link it in the video!

  • i didn't know that it's happened to me alot and i naver know it was that and yes you really help me thanks ^_^

  • Brilliant video :)

  • thats how i found out about my anxiety in the first place is chest pain costocondritis and my experience with it is its disabling along with my anxiety attacks i cant lift things it hurts to breath ive had it for 3 years strait

  • Your videos have helped a alot when i first started having anxiety issues and panic attacks but i have found out some thing interesting most people with anxiety and skin issues actually have a dietary problems being celiacs allergic to high fructose corn syrup gluten and grains wheat Which is in everything we eat from normal supermarkets for the the past month and a half i have been buy all organic foods and filtering out chlorine and fluoride from my shower water and exercising and i feel great

  • You really helped in this video Justin. About 3 to 4 years ago the sharp edge of the car door hit me in the right rib area and I was wearing a heavy coat, sweater, shirt, but it hurt pretty bad. So I went to the ER for an X-ray but there was nothing broken. Probably a bruse, thats all. But this area in my right rib area is starting to hurt everyday now, and Tylenol is not helping, even Xanax. So when I see my doctor I will mention this "costochondritis." I thought it may be cancer. Thanks

  • @PepsiJunkie52 welcome! :)
