Pharaoh Gold = Pharaoh + 'Queen of the Nile Cleopatra' expansion to be exact so Glitchfinder is correct by stating Pharoah : Queen of the Nile.... exactly the same as written on the disc , but hey who gives a monkeys, I found what I was looking for thanks Glitchfinder!

Man, I used to love this game as a kid, but I only had the trial! That meant I only had a certain amount of in-game days, and I couldn't save, so I had to start over every time. I still loved it though, which is funny because strategy games like this usually don't interest me. But this one is so simple and fun that even when I was little I could still pick it up and have fun. In comparison, I could never figure out even the basics of SimCity.

@LaUrDeCartier1 That's probably because Pharaoh and Caesar III use the same game engine. From what I've seen, Pharaoh is a better balanced game, though.

@Glitchfinder and that was the best engine for that type of games. They kept it until Emperor, then they decided to go with the 3D engine, wich was total failure in my opinion.

I have a copy of the game too, and I'm almost certain that it's simply "Pharaoh" and an expansion "Cleopatra", but without the "queen of the nile" subtitle.

I just looked it up. The first game is titled "Pharaoh", while the second has the name "Cleopatra" (with the subtitle "Queen of the Nile") in America, and appears to have been titled "Queen of the Nile" with the subtitle "Cleopatra" in Europe. According to Wikipedia and various other sources, the actual title is "Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile". I simply have "Pharaoh Gold". (The re-released combo pack, by $old Out Software)

Can I make a request? I'd like to see a video of a battle in Pharaoh, specifically the invasions by the Hyksos in Byblos if possible. They always smashed me unless I used the hippo cheat on them.

To be honest, I haven't played this game since making this video. Not only that, but I haven't even been in a battle in this game since 2001 or so. So...yeah. I've been thinking about reinstalling it, however. Also, about that battle. Usually GameFaqs has a few good tips about harder-to-beat scenarios like that. They're the reason I was able to unlock every scenario of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon series. (Which is not installed on this comp either...)

I recommend going to Amazon or Ebay and purchasing the game. It is fairly inexpensive, and you won't have to deal with the legal issues of having pirated a game off of the internet.

I wouldn't expect you to find it in any store. GameStop, EBGames, and such are almost guaranteed not to have it, since they regularly update stock to newer games. If they still sold N64 games, then you might have a chance, but they don't, and haven't for yeard. As I said, you should check sites like Ebay or Amazon. One of the newest versions is by Sold Out Software, while the other includes other games, such as Caesar III and Zeus: Master of Olympus.

Well, I foresee a few problems with that. First, I don't have nearly enough time to play through this game enough times to make good, quick, clean videos of each and every level. Next, the majority of stages in the city-building games take quite a bit longer than the 10-minute limit, meaning that, on the later levels, I'll have level # videos 1-15. Finally, most people just won't find the videos interesting enough, and I'm simply not good enough to turn them into tutorials or guides.

That would be why I own several different copies. I have the original on a floppy, I have 3000 Unlimited, and I have 4 and its expansion. Anyway, the reason I like this game is because of how it is so different than SimCity while being very similar.
