I showed this video to some buddies of mine at work, maybe a couple of years ago. They'd never heard or seen it. Except for George, I had to explain who the 'other' guys were. Well, I can't say that I know who's on drums and bass, but they're good either way, and I probably just don't recognize them for 'who' they are, and when I said: Gary Wright (Spooky Tooth, The Dream Weaver), George (of the Beatles), and Mick Jones from Foreignor....THAT got their attention!
@Akpk3r almost certainly I reckon, way back in a time when mainstream artists were able to express themselves properly about their life experiences..without being gagged by record companies, who's ONLY consideration is profit.
I've been looking for this for a long time! I first saw this clip on VH1 back in the mid-90s. I liked the song, but couldn't remember the name of it or the name of the group. I'm so glad it's here!
@piinus I completely agree, and not just because of his wildly underrate musical talent..the man had great taste, coupled with a small enough ego and enough humility to make these types of collaborations work.
Dunno if you've already seen it, but there's a breathtaking performance/collaboration of George Harrison and Paul Simon here on Youtube, back in circa 1976 on Saturday Night Live.

Sounds like a typical day on the job, I wonder if he's singing about a personal experience of his.
