Criminal matters are not subject to "binding arbitration." This is a criminal matter. Conservatives would have them put where they belong - in jail. This is about civil damages. Typically cases filed by union members are very weak on the facts. People guilty of gang rape belong in jail. The unions want them in civil court (like OJ) where the lawyers can make money - and the guilty go free.
This is the final nail in the coffin of my delusion that McCain is basically a good person. Anyone who would vote against protections for rape victims is not a human being, period.
