I think having another season is great. But to keep that emotional tie with the show I think they should end where they had it. Endings in general are just sad, but this ending in particular is like one of the saddest i've seen. It took you through like every episode mentally although it showed the future of J.D.s life. And I love how Dr.Cox Is like almost in tears when J.D. goes to hug him.

This Season is straight horrible. I mean face it! We will never see another one of Dr.Cox's 10 hour rants or J'Ds\'s crazy inner monolouge. Nothing! Elliote's Crazyness. All it is is a pathetic attempt to re-creat someting that was woderful for 8 years and probably should have stayed for 2 more years. the comeback was nothing what I expected it to be I miss the J.D based stories.But face it. We will never see it again. Kind of depressing.

i can't pretend anymore. season 9 is no where near the last season. it has too many gimmicks, and cliche's: spoiled frat boy, over achieving girl, etc. i can't ever see this show ever being relate-able, or having serious moments again. were not gonna see another moment comparable to dr.cox's breakdown, or the episode where cox's friend dies of leukemia. that mix of reality and comedy is what made scrubs awesome.

doggiefluff - Ted, Janitor and Jordan appeared on the show. Ted left to travel, Jordan gave Cox a visit to sign a will and the Janitor disappeared after finding out JD 'really wasn't' coming back. Carla is the only one on your list who hasn't.

JD, Tod and Kelso have been in several episodes.

You have to remember; Season 8 was supposed to be the last, so the majority of cast members had other plans before hearing about season 9 and the show still has to settle in with the newbies.

Scrubs Season Nine isn't really Scrubs. Executive Producer Bill Lawrence has been telling fans to consider it as a different show even though it bears the name Scrubs...

Season 9 will have 13 episodes, and if - and it is a very big if - the season proves to be a success than they will start to produce new episodes. The actor who plays JD said that he will appear for only 5 or 6 episodes and if they go over 13 - which it will not - he might even return again.

Personally I hope it doesn't succeed. I'm still a little upset they continued the Scrubs name. JD and crew are THE members of Scrubs, they can't be replaced by Lucy or Cole or anyone else.

At least if Season 9 isn't that successful they probably won't kill it further by making a 10th. I mean, how can you have Turk without JD? And what's supposed to have happened to Carla (doesn't she see her husband anymore?!)

In my opinion, Scrubs ended in Season 8. This is simply a spin-off. They probably didn't want to change the name because the fan base might drop away too heavily. At least this way, everyone is curious enough to watch a few episodes... Whatever Bill Lawrence and his crew do, it'll be funny - but it won't be scrubs.
