  • Mine boss 302 in my ranger cab lifted almost 10 tires 35 dual pipes flowmaster 40 series n tach meter in truck 4 speed 4x4 mine badass than any truck it pull about 80,000 pound

  • what kind of exhaust is that that sounds pritty sweet for a 6 popper

  • i have a 1993 ranger and it has 546,895 miles on it , FORD ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

  • f100s are really nice decent long lasting truck considering on the fact that there simple small durable trucks , which personally i like the smaller trucks better cuz they last longer and they dont fuck up as quik as these big heavy duty f750s and shit like that

  • could u tell me a lil about what u accually did to make the lift?? like that springs ans such. awsome truck man

  • was this truck true duals or catback with the cherrybombs

  • DAMN thats was a bad ass ranger

  • Man! Nice truck. Why did you total it!?!

  • sweet truck man, really nice.

  • that sounds just like my honda 250 crf

  • man that truck sounds so nice !

  • beautiful truck man

  • that is the nasty 6 cylinder ive ever heard

  • where did you get your bumper? i'm rebuildin an 88 ranger for black mountain park in kentucky. i could use one like it.

  • if u think that truck is cool i have and 89 ranger on 38.5's and im about to make some sweet vids of it doing work so stay on the look out for a tan ranger on 38.5's

  • how did it drive on the road with those 36's?

  • what kind or rims are on that ?

  • that is bad ass what is done to the truck

  • so sick

  • It's like mine!! <3

  • LOL it sits so high a roll over is innevitable. If you hit a corner at 10mph it would flip :P

  • do u know where to get good suspension lifts at

  • Hey how did you put the 4.0L in it? I have one on mine but the wiring isnt right, what did you have to do to get it to work?

  • @1988foRdRanger1 The second generation ranger (like the one in the video) could come stock with a 4.0, don't know if his is/was stock, but your best bet is looking in a scrapyard and snagging a wiring harness from one of em

  • Hey i got a 84 ford ranger 4x4 2.8 l v6 it looks like youers but blue and 4inch bodey lift with 31"s.. i want to do a suspension lift so i can run 35s at least man. but ya

  • @joshyddog haha first get rid of the 2.8 imo. Get a 4.0 or bigger.

  • ..... it is a 4.0... buffalo.

  • that sounds bad ass!

  • if u still got that bumper i would love to buy it

  • Did you build that front bumper or buy it because i can't seem to find one? Sweet truck

  • i real hate to hear it got wrecked that sucks

  • what kinda cherrybombs were on there?

  • what kinda exhaust is that on the truck?

  • it was a nice long arm kit you had on it and easy to see why it rolled over. thats too bad.... =[ should've taken out the rear sway while you had it

  • Nice Truck

  • i had a 2.9 with a cherrybomb loudest thing i have ever driven lol! got one myself and by chance are you from calgary?

  • that things pretty snappy.. what did it have for gears?

  • this truck is an awsome machine. def. was the ting that made me decide to build my ranger. excpt. i have the under powered 2.9l. need a 4.0. lol can i swap motors w.o swapping tranny and drive teerrain?

  • just put a turbo or a supercharger on it keep the boost under 7 psi and ur good

  • @Killa762 they dont make a turbo or super charger for the 2.9 anymore

  • @67Memphis oh its possible to get a turbo to fit on a 2.9

  • @Killa762 yeah i just was saying that ford does not make the kit anymore you would have to source one out or custom fab one. if your custom fabing one you might as well beef up the motor to handle a higher boost!

  • @67Memphis a stock motor can handle up to 6 psi of boost w/o putting higher end parts but its a good idea to do that tho lol

  • @Killa762 yeah man turbo charging a stock 2.9 is a ticking time bomb waiting to blow up in your face especially if it was not well looked after

  • i wish you had made more videos of this awesome truck

  • Me too man. Sadly, this is the only one I have I believe.

  • @dillonb12 man i wish i couldve bought that suspension from u i got a 91 ranger

  • thats to nice of a truck to rollover.. that almost makes me sick.. lol well it was a nice truck!

  • Thanks! It was a sad day when it was rolled.

  • I love that ranger my dad used to have an 86 two wheel drive with hooker headers and straight pipes long live little rangers XD

  • dang dude.. those cherry bombs sound saweeet.

  • hey man nice truck what year model is that thing?

  • 91'

  • sounds like my 4 stroke atv

  • love the sound, i have a 4.oL in mine too, did you have the catalic converter on your??

  • No, straight from the headers.

  • not bad

  • thats the nicest lifted ranger ive ever seen

  • Thanks

  • hey man love the truck, sounds great. does it have cats? an what size is the pipe?

  • No cats; 2 3/4" pipe

  • damn that thing sounds nice, i got the 3.0 splash

  • those trucks weight the same as a honda accord

  • Yea, surprisingly though, the weight was just right for a 12.5" wide swamper to have the perfect dig rate. I was worried it would be to light for the tire. Never used the wench.

  • nice truck tho. love the box frame rangers. wish ford kept that style =[

  • i thought it was a 4 banger

  • could you possibly tell me how you made your own lift? i would love to make one myself but need to blueprints for it

  • We just measured and drew it out on an iron table with a soapstone... lol I wouldn't suggest it but it worked for us. We both have a ton of metal working, machining, and engineering experience too, so that always helps.

  • With that exhaust the truck doesn't even sound like a 4.0 but maybe a 2.9L.. Still it was a nice rig !!

  • Man that was a nice Ranger.. Sad to hear it got totalled in a roll over..

  • very nice ranger!! and i loke the fact that you built the lift,,,, but if you dont mind me asking,, how did you go about doing the drop brackets for the front axle? and how long did you make the radius arms? that thing looks like lt articulates pretty good and could be still road worthy,,,but i wanted to lift my exploder, but still be able to drive it everyday? oh,, And did that thing eat up wheel bearings and ball joints with the wide offset wheels??

  • 4.0 V6 ... And I bought the bumpers from some random guy at a swap meet. I've never seen them anywhere else. The original big foot truck had similar ones. You may want to go from there.

  • it that a 4cyl or the small 6?

  • where did u get that bumper?

  • ford ranger lift kits are so expensive

  • That's why we built our own.

  • sexy little truck ya got there

  • Thanks.

  • my pinzgauer will idle over that.

  • Nice gen 2 ranger.. sorry to hear about your loss. -=(

  • Nice truck how'd you make the lift kit?

  • Welder, grinder, drill press, etc...

  • how much did the duel cherrybomb mufflers cost?

  • im gona start posting vid's of my ranger bid can you give me insight to what you did. All i have done in the past is fullsize now i want a real trail rig.

  • I have a friend that has a 89 ranger 4x4 he put some f-150 springs in the front and converted some explore rear leafs from spring under to spring over to fit the ranger added a 3in body lift trimed the fenders and put 35 under it, does well in mud

  • i had a 4x4 ford ranger 85 it had a carberated motor in it but someone put

a 2.3 fuil injection motor in it and it was a

tough mothafucker these rangers out 4x4

a lot of trucks im gonna get another one

  • dude i hate fords but that has some empresive power but it does sound like a weed eater

  • nice ranger

  • sounds like a weed eater

  • nice little machine and good vid.

the power of this little garbage is impressive lolll

  • let your tyres down will be a lot easier

  • my brother just got a 92 like that

  • that truck is super sweet i am 15 and looking for trucks!

  • nice ranger, im doing the same thing but with a 302 bored 30 over

  • what front axel, ttb or solid?

  • i cant decide between a ford ranger 4x4 or a jeep wrangler. i want 33 or 35 inch tires. anyone who can help please do.

  • thats a no brainer, go with the ranger for sure. the ride is much better and its a truck. i say that because i like to ride quads too and dont like hauling a trailer to go 10 miles down the road but if you have no need for a bed, go with the wrangler because both are dependable just depends on what you want and how your gonna use it.

  • thanks, i was thinking ranger but then i would see a nice jeep, and change my ,ind for a while, so thanks again. :)

  • yeah go with the ranger i have a 88 ford ranger 4x4 and it has never let me down

  • looks alot like my ranger!! minus my roll bars and brush guard. and mine is an 88'. yours looks about a 91'.

  • not a bad lookin ranger i myself am a ranger fan. my current ranger is an 89 with a 390 under the hood and a set of 38.5" boggers. i will try to get some vids on youtube.

  • you probally could get by with a 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift.I have a buddy that has a ranger like that with 36" swampers. His has the 4.0.

  • what year is that. did you have to put anything into motor to run 36'' tires

  • this one of the nicest rangers on you tube. nice truck

  • nice truck, but dicth the exhaust, straight single pipes sound better. Go for a 351 from an f1or250. Truck looks awesome though.

  • thing sounds sweet man i like it, the only tihng i hate about it is that it has that god awful blue oval.........but hey ill make an exception this time lol cause the truck is pretty sweet

  • thats just fucking bad ass dude

  • nice truck! what kind of lift??? i seem to always break the front axle shafts with only 31s. are those stock axle shafts??? help me out here, im tired of break'n shit. i have an 88 wit 7inches of total lift (4in/3bod). i want an 8in lift but cant find one (without modifications). any help would be great!:)thanx.

  • We made the extension brackets for the front and the springs are 8" lift springs for a 66' bronco.

  • that is one awesome looking ranger

  • are you runnin open cat cause it sounds weird. my 3.0 sounded like that after my cat gasket blew.

  • It's a 4.0, no cats, with dual cherry bombs.

  • Nice red mud, by the way, man. All we got is brown stuff out here in the O-State (Oregon).

  • cool i love the exhaust sound... whats in it for exhaust?

  • I Love your truck! i have a 2wd long bed im biulding a 351w but i thank im going find short bed single cab 4x4 maybe even a four banger like yours it really sound good for a four cylinder. is that a glass pack

  • I used to have an 85 ranger with a 351w. It had 35's and i never should have sold it

  • boy you gota love that red clay . . .

  • like the sound of your truck

  • Hey man I got a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT and I'm fixing it up for driving and playing in the mud and all and I was wondering if you know if I can fit 33x10.50 or not? I want a good mud tire to so I was wondering if I would fit that size?

  • if your staying with a stock motor i would stick with a 31x10.5. if you don't have the motor to turn the tires you won't go anywhere. i had a 2.9 with a 5speed and bfg all terrains and it went everywhere.

  • I thinking about putting a 302 V-8 from my dad's old truck in it after hunting season. I'm putting a 3 inch lift on it when I get the money but every tell's me the 302 won't fit but IDK.

  • 302 fits my little bros got one, a body lift seemed to help with the fit,

  • dude the 302 will fit with a 2" lift and a little notching of the frame so the fins on the tcase of an np205 out of an f150 will fit/clear. not that difficult but if you don't know anything about cars dont bother geting into it...

  • cool ranger

  • thats a big tailpipe

  • very cool ranger man

  • nasty ranger

  • damn man what size lift and tires she sounds fucking good man!

  • 8" suspension, 3" body, 36" Swamper TSLs

  • nice truck!

  • I like pipe bumbers if they are chrome but wouldnt put one on my truck cuz its all black

  • awesome ranger, and that is a pretty good job driving better than some guys i know, what axles and gearing are you running in that bad boy? thanks

  • man nice ranger but how you get it to sound like that

  • not too shabby...

  • man i like tha muffler system u got on there. haha first thing that came to mind when i heard it was a cummings diesel

  • awesome truck.. other than the 5" tips..haha

again.. one of the coolest homemade rangers that i have seen in a while.

  • Bad ass Ranger What Front winch bumper did you use? I need something like that for my 89 ranger w/4 inch lift and 33's and Dual flowies. Nice vid dude.

  • Good video. Clearance and power are a mix yes but knowing how to use them are two very different things. Anyone who knows this will understand.

  • THIS IS A BAD ASS RANGER

  • hell ya i had a ranger just like that cept it was extended cab. i like the regular cab better tho. never got stuck once in mine. im pretty damn pissed i had to get rid of it. RANGERS KICK ASS.

  • expecially stick shift rangers

  • sweet truck man

  • nice

  • BEAST

  • nice truck.

  • Realy cool Ranger. GREAT the way it is but a 302 or a stroked 351..Yeah..Buddy!!!

  • its like a atv fourwheeler :) nice truck

  • nice truck sounds good

  • dude that is possibly the sweetest ranger ive ever seen

  • Badass Rig, I have an 89 kind of like yours but mine only has 32 inch swampers, and a 3 inch lift with dual flowmaster exaust. But yours is freakin awesome. Those little trucks wheel with the best of em.

  • what brand and size lift kit is that and are thoes 35's ur running?

  • he built the lift and 36 swampers

  • that is one nice truck man very clean.

  • Nice truck, sucks you rolled it. Id really like to kno what kind of exhaust you were runnin, it sounded great.

  • When did he roll it, not in this video?

  • yeah, i know. it used to say in the video description that he rolled it but it doesnt say it now.

  • Yea, sweet tuck. Too bad its 2 feet shorter now... lol

  • that was cool

  • that thing sounds bad ass!!!!

  • hey this is a really nice truck you did a clean job.

  • Bad to the bone man, what did you have in that ranger? it's a shame you hurt it. it was a nice truck!

  • Bad news guys, Ranger got rolled and is now pretty flat on top lol. We robbed some parts off of it for the new Bronco project.

  • dude... that is sweet... drop a 5.0 in there with a little bit bigger cam, hand port the heads yourself so its free... your set... you're makin me want one!

  • Oh my god! Thats a sweet ride! I'd like to set my 2007 up like that! Or drop a 351 I have in an old one set up like that dang !

  • Thanks man, it is alot of fun and we built it for very cheap.
